Lodge was very good
people did not explain anything, just few words. You have to do the check-in & check-out in the other lodge

If you love being remote and off the air this place is for you. It is deep into the bush with hardly any cellphone reception. Tucked far away from any noise in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful! Our guided bush walk with the Rhino is also something I will always remember. The staff is super friendly.

Fabulous location at Ndlovu camp with the waterhole attracting game. Loved the rusticity of Bhubesi camp setting and enjoyed the full amenities offered.

The atmosphere at Hlane is peaceful and quiet, which we appreciated.
The bed was comfortable.
The accommodation did not feel particularly clean or fresh, BUT the safari was by far the most disappointing part of our stay.
The Park felt more like a huge zoo than a real safari experience, as the animals are kept in separate fenced areas.
The guide will also tell you that seeing 3 of the Big Five is unusual. Of course it is, when the animals are kept in specific areas and the guides know exactly where to find them.😂
Overall, we would not choose Hlane again.
