Entspannter Camping-Urlaub, aber komfortabler. Zum Wiederkommen :) Im Allgemeinen sehr sauber und gut organisiert. Ausgesprochen nettes Personal.
DIE MÜCKEN!
UND : Ich würde mir wünschen, dass man etwas mehr Wert darauf legen würde, dass ab einer bestimmten Zeit - zB. 24 Uhr - eine gewisse Nachtruhe eingehalten wird, UND das man das auch so an die Gäste kommuniziert. In der Nacht, bevor wir uns auf die lange Heimfahrt früh am nächsten Morgen vorbereiteten, hat man im Häuschen gegenüber bis nach 2 UHR nachts laut auf der Terasse pallavert, äußerst unangenehm und ärgerlich, wenn man den Schlaf gerade besonders braucht.

Location was very convenient for the beach.
Air conditioning of the mobile home worked very well. Shower was very good and hot how we wanted.
Arrival: I tried to contact the property to know what was the list of items available in the mobile home. I never received an email back and never the phone calls were answered. Awful not to be able to get in contact with the property at all.
Check-in timing: supposed to receive the apartment key by 4 pm via text messages but I never got the message so I went to the reception after 4pm and they said the home was ready clean but they forgot to send the message. Awful.
Keys: the apartment is for 4/5 people but you can only get 1 set of keys. It is possible to drop the key at the reception but it implies staying in cue for drop off and again for collection. Why can’t they provide more than one set of keys having multiple people sleeping there?
Dinner: Saturday we tried to have dinner in the village at 8 on there were no tables available. So we walked out and tried to the restaurant across the road and no tables there either. So we waited until 9.15 for a table at the restaurant of the village and nothing came. We ended up with 2 split pizza on low tables. Couldn’t you improve the eating opportunities?
Stoves: there is no tool to get spaghetti from the pan such as “forchettone”.

Hotel is pet friendly but unfortunately a few pet owners were not. Those kept theirs dogs indoor whole day. They cried and barked. This was sometimes really annoying and we were sad for the dogs.
This is not a negative comment but night shows were in Italian . I am sure they were good but we couldnt enjoy very much.

we stayed in barricata for the second time, and it was fantastic! even though we had a corfu bungalow, which is a bit smaller (veranda) than the bellagio small, but it was great! we also did a bicycle tour with the rented bikes, that was beautiful and the restaurant marina 70 on the other side of the sacca di scardovari was very good! it takes about an hour if you cycle with children one way, but the scenery is beautiful. the pools are fantastic, the pizza at the bar very delicious, the staff friendly and the beach clean and not too crowded. the luna park was the highlight for the children and the market on thursdays is small but very nice. we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back anytime!
there were far more dogs there than last year! and you could hear the dogs barking all the time. at night or during the day because the were left alone in the bungalows. in the evening there were so many dogs at the luna park. it is very nice, that people can take the dogs in holiday but this was a bit much. maybe have them in a separate area and not allow them in the luna park in the evening.

The location is great. Many families. Kids find friends easily. Nice option for pools and beach. Food was ok.
Apparently they tried to protect against mosquitos, but it does not work at all. The animation could be improved. Most kids rather play with the gaming machines next door, which is just very expensive alternative.

Beautiful place, excellent conditions. Wonderful large beaches for dogs. Very dog friendly. Super mobile homes. Good grocery shopping in the camping village area. Several beaches very close, beaches are clean and vast. Dog agility facility and dog trainer at site were SUPERB.
A LOT of mosquitos, be prepared. Restaurant inside the village is a complete disaster DO NOT TRY. Go to one of the outer but still very close restaurants instead!

The cleanliness was top-notch, and the wide variety of family-friendly amenities - ranging from pools for all ages to sports facilities like tennis, paddle tennis, football, and volleyball - made our stay not just comfortable, but also enjoyable and fun-filled.
We did encounter a few areas that could use improvement. The presence of mosquitoes was quite troubling, making it uncomfortable to stay outdoors during the evening. Perhaps more could be done in terms of pest control to ensure the comfort of your guests.
Also, while we understand that quality comes at a cost, we found the food pricing a bit steep, particularly considering the quality didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Great location. You have everything you need there: send beach, pools and restaurant, a small store with some stuff you probably need, but forgot it at home =)
Plenty of children's entertainment.
There were some mosquitoes, but not that much to ruin the holiday, some parts of the children's entertainment program starts only in the mid of June.

Oh god where do I start.... one fan between two tents in 40 degree heat is pure torture. I don't know what we were thinking when we thought this was a good idea.

We did not get the keys to our cabin until 6pm, that's not clearly stated and was a shock when we got there. Yes, you can use the facilities, but providing keys at 6, basically at the end of the day is unacceptable.

we knew about the mosquitoes before we came from the reviews, we had all our precautions and brought with us all we need. But what we didn’t expect was bed bugs too!!!!
we are literally bitten from head to toe! the cabin was not clean and we really suffered to sleep every night from the itching!!! sprays didn’t help.
we just left to run back home and start medical treatments.

The house was quite small but thanks to the terrace it was enough. At the end we spent most of the time outside. Very close to the beach, swimming pools and additional facilities were the plus. You can go there with the kids and they will be occupied all day long.
Lots of people so it is difficult to find some privacy. You need to like such way of spending holidays.

The facilities and staff are great, the place is clean and there are a lot of things to do and choose from. Well organized.
The mobile home was very very very small although i paid extra to get a large one (i don't even want to think how much smaller the cheaper ones are). Practically in the twin bed's room the beds have a 10cm space in the middle and are attached to the wall on the other side. No space for a child even to go to the head of the bed without climbing over it. The mattresses were so bad we all had back pains and couldn't sleep properly.
The worst part of my stay was that the music in the evening was ear piercing loud - I constantly had ringing in my ears although i was never close to the music boxes. What is even worse is that the children disco dancing is very close to the music boxes and i saw both adults and children putting their hands on their ears to protect them. It was dangerously loud - way above a concert level of noise. Even if you decided not to go to the show and go to sleep you cannot as the music is so loud that the entire village hears it... And this until midnight.
Both things made a good night's sleep impossible - which is not really what you want from a holiday with your family.

We spent 15 days here, they didnt share even garbage bags during this time (only first day), no room cleaning. Hot in houses, aircondioner always on(but limited by 32h, prolongation -10euro). Infopoint dont know nothing about bus to the city.(but its a lot from barricata bus stop) so if you are treveling here without car - its not perfect place

We are a family with 3 teenagers, loved the pools and all the inclusive sports activities here. Only extra was horse riding. Kids loved the teen entertainment day and night. Shop prices were ok and great choice of fresh food. Complex was spotlessly clean, toilet facilities for our dog were great. Everything was well maintained. Beach was sandy and clean, cafe and toilets and large free beach for the dog. Staff were friendly and helpful, extended our stay for 2 nights extra. Kids loved the entertainment team.
We chose a lodge tent. Price was great. Inside is very clean, modern with everything you need , great deck but the outside is a little worn. The window blinds fasten with clasps, many broke off in my hand when fastening them, just wrotten with heat and age. Some zips were also broken. But the big BUT... was the tents inside are not a sealed unit and you just can not keep mosquitoes and flys out! Doors don't seal and the tents are open at the floor level. So maybe spend a little extra and just get a cabin instead. There are newer fancier tents available so maybe they are better? Our other concern was the mosquitoes, obviously we are on the delta and its inevitable but the camp site spray poison insecticide during the night. They notify you in advance but it's still a safety concern for us..especially as we couldn't properly seal the tent. The first time we were unprepared and coughed, and worried about getting our teenagers to come in before the spraying. So it's a dilemma to consider as without the spraying for sure the mosquitoes would be unbearable!

We love this place. Not only for great facilities and possibilities for families with children, because our teenagers are independent enough, but we choose this complex searching for calm beach, good energy of the place, nature, possibility to come with a dog (dog beach available), shells, long walks, trips, etc.
This was our fourth stay even we are not ones who "need to return". Barricata was calling us to relax and we did spontaneous decision on our way throughout Italy :-) We really appreciate renovations in the village during the period when traveling was restricted because of Covid. There are many new mobile homes and beautiful glamping possibilities. We enjoyed our stay.
