Good location, beauty nature, very cool design, comfort during having a rest, good restaurant, lots of nice horses in stable
There were ants from forest in bathroom. Spa is on renovation so was closed almost whole day

Verholy is a beautiful place. Staff were mostly friendly. I also liked the fact that rooms were cleaned in the mornings, so you could cosy up in bed again after a first morning session at the spa or gym or breakfast. Breakfast was good, as were most of the other meals.
Covid rules were not enforced. Some of the staff were wearing no masks at all, a lot of the other members of staff were leaving their noses out…. During breakfast, 90% of the guests wore no masks when walking around the restaurant or at the buffet, and some were coughing violently…. Nobody said anything. During all meals, the restaurant was packed, no social distancing - and again, staff themselves were sloppy with the masks. The same goes for the spa area.
Verholy is a beautiful, very spacious resort and it would be so easy to enforce Covid rules there and make the space a safe haven during the pandemic. Alas, this is not a priority.
Also, more of a focus on local produce and sustainability would be welcomed.
