Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, excellent and attentive staff. Nil was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the history and activities in Cappadocia. She recommended places to visit and eat. She truly enhanced our vacation. I highly recommend Sota Cappadocia for individuals, couples and groups seeking a retreat or adventurous vacation.

Meeting Sota and the owner, Nil, was absolute bliss for us. We were initially unsure about choosing Cappadocia as our destination, but Sota’s photos made us take the leap. (In reality, the rooms are far more stunning than the pictures, though the beautiful rooms are only a fraction of Sota’s true charm)
When we arrived, Nil sat down with us and shared the entire story of how the hotel was built, even introducing every staff member by name. This went far beyond the standard B&B experience, making us feel a genuine connection. She walked us through our itinerary for the next two days and shared her recommendations—we learned so much from her and felt incredibly fortunate to meet our wonderful driver, Mr. Tuncay, and complete the Ihlara Valley hike.

SOTA is absolutely magical. Beautiful kind helpful staff waiting on hand and foot with a wonderful breakfast every day served on the beautiful terrace. Nil, Younis and the team made us feel so special - it has been one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had.
Urgup is only a short easy drive from Goreme and the major attractions, but it’s quiet and there are great food options around. Well worth considering Urgup, and definitely Sota!

What an amazing hotel! Spacious and sophisticated rooms, with a great view of Urgup from from pretty much everywhere on the property. Loved the top level dining room, a great place to start and end the day. Plus breakfast was DELICIOUS. Nil and her staff are fantastic, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help with whatever we needed. Every element has clearly been though through with care and consideration - really stands apart from the hotels I saw in the region, from what I can tell.
Parking could be a bit tricky -- but they were always on standby to help.
