The apartment is located at the very end of Fažana, in a very quiet area. There are two apartments in the house, and we stayed in the one with the terrace further towards the back, overlooking the garden. It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet.
The owners live right next door, so you see them almost every day. Mrs. Suzana is very kind and friendly. During our short stay, she even brought us a bowl of homemade baked treats. When we left, we were given a jar of homemade jam as a little gift.
The apartment itself is spacious enough and very well equipped. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, including a dishwasher, microwave, and a large fridge with a freezer. There is air conditioning and plenty of storage space. The bathroom even has a washing machine and hairdryer. There is also an iron and a clothes drying rack with pegs, if needed. It really felt like they had thought of everything a guest might need.
The nearest beach is about a 15-minute walk away (approximately), although we drove to other beaches instead.
One important thing to mention: upon arrival, the owner asked us for a €100 cash deposit, which we were not expecting as we hadn’t known about it in advance. So just a little heads-up for future guests. The money was, of course, returned to us at the end of our stay. :-)
The only thing that was a little inconvenient was that if you wanted to go into the centre for an evening ice cream, the walk there and back was quite long. However, we knew about the location beforehand, and this is, of course, the price you pay for such a peaceful and quiet setting. :-)
