Lovely old timbered building in the prettiest part of the Altstadt next to the Magnikirche. Good breakfast, and friendly staff - when we couldn't find a cafe open on Good Friday, they kindly supplied two free coffees in the restaurant.
Breakfast buffet was across a small cobbled courtyard from the restaurant tables, so a little chilly walking between them, but all part of the character of the hotel!

It is an old-style building and well-kept. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. The neighborhood is calm.
I wish one could keep the light out while sleeping, at least in my room were not blinds or curtains.

Excellent location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We thought all the employees were a real asset to the hotel. Breakfast choice very good. Good value
overall.
We didn’t mind the size of the rooms but the room was dark and depressing , particularly due to the decor. Functional with large black wardrobe and black carpet but the room needed lightening up with some injection of colour. There was no sense that we were staying in a room in an historic boutique hotel. Coffee making facility and water were provided but, due to the heatwave, a mini fridge was needed in the room to keep the water cool.
