Lovely room

Room was clean and comfortable, good location too, great facilities

Lovely 2 night stay. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house close to beach and amenities. It said Breakfast was not included but there was a small kitchen with cereal and bread for toast and plenty of milk, juice, tea and coffee so you can make your own and eat in your room.

Nice, welcoming house & hostess.

This family house with rooms to let in the top 2 floors was ideal for my overnight stay. It's on a quiet road so no traffic noise and far enough away from the town to avoid noisy nightclubs etc.

My only gripe - completely out of the control of the hosts - was that the family staying on the top floor were very noisy from the time they arrived. Their young children were awake about 6:30 am which disturbed my sleep.

Georgina is a lovely host , very friendly , and helpful . The house is beautiful , clean and comfortable , the location was perfect . We had a fantastic stay and good rest .

Excellent very friendly and great accommodation could definitely recommend southcote

There was a light breakfast if you wanted it but we went out for a late brunch before visiting our family

We couldn't fault anything at this accommodation so spotlessly clean room was large comfortable and lovely and warm

Very welcoming room excellent and very clean. Also had use of private kitchen and including some help yourself cereal with milk, and bread for toast if you wanted. Location excellent within couple of minutes walk to beach, pier and town centre

Room size was suitable for a family of four with access to own bathroom and use of a fully functioning kitchenette (basics were supplied). Great view at the top of the property.

Three flights of stairs but not a big deal. Appreciate the owners request for us not to wear shoes due to carpets (maybe offer shoe covers) which was OK as warm weather but may not have helped if wet weather

A warm welcome and a comfortable stay which we really enjoyed, thank you!

The house was really nice and well presented and were warmly welcomed. Sadly we couldn’t stay both nights due to an issue at home but we would happily stay again!

Verycomfortable all round.

The room was large, comfortable and warm. Plenty of storage for your luggage. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I had really good nights sleep.

Parking was a little difficult and it would be helpful if the hosts left a small resume of the TV (they mentioned other stations being available but I didn't know how to get them) also the oven/microwave would have benefitted from some instructions. Perhaps only me as I had never used one before.

Comfortable and enjoyable

Kettle in room was just a small travel one and took ages to boil then the cord was too short to be able to pour boiling water into cups. I didn’t mind removing my shoes on entry but could do with some sort of seating to put them back on before going out, it’s difficult to tie laces when you’re standing up!

Very clean comfortable room my partner was very impressed with the bed as it had a TV in it, owners are very friendly and helpful. Very good location on sea front definitely recommend

It was lovely

The walk-in shower was perfect - the location also - the room was lovely and everything clean - free parking and WiFi - popup TV at the end of the bed - little shared kitchen and well - it was just lovely!
