The owner, his family, their super cute little dog Rio and their neighbours made our stay unforgettable. The guest house is in a beautiful old building, so rich in character. Breakfast was amazing, and we had a lovely dinner for two evenings. The children had some more continental options as not really enjoying any spicy food. The roof top was being updated, but we were still able to enjoy it so much. The children loved learning to fly kites directly from the roof top, while I much enjoyed viewing at the fort. The location is perfect as walking distance to so many important sites. Quiet as the road to access the property is too small even for tuctuc to drive through.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds and fresh bedsheets. Aircon working perfectly. Plenty of fans in the room and in the shared sitting areas with chairs and sofas.
The owner made us feel at home so much that we spent a couple of evenings planning our long travel and enjoying masala chai and the breeze and the view.
The owner even found a taxi to jaisalmer for us, at the most competitive price.
Nothing, we loved everything, but worth knowing: if you have very heavy luggage that you cannot carry for 100 meters it would be worth contacting the property to ask for help at arrival. They helped us when leaving the property, I am sure they would be very happy to help with luggage if informed about arrival time.
We walked 500 meters from the clocktower where our taxi left us as unable to drive into the small roads, with a 7 and 11 year old carrying their own backpack, and it was absolutely fine for us, but Tuctucs can go up to less than 100 meters from the guest house.

*The location of this place is very convenient.
*It’s located in the heart of the Blue City, so it feels very authentic.
*The breakfast was amazing! Different every day.
*Their dog Rio is super cute!
*I get it that I came during low season, but the place was totally abandoned - nothing was set up, no terrace, just a couch to sit outside of the room and the room itself.
*It was 45 degrees outside, and around 60 in the room 24/7 - AC worked for maybe 1 hour during the 3 days, fan was loud like a tractor. It was very difficult to rest, I spent most of the time outside and cooling down in restaurants.
*The owners were very sporadically present if you needed them.
*I would definitely not come back during low season.
