Everything…..but the people make a nice place into a special place and we loved our stay at Pousada Rubi because the people (and Wesley the cat!) made it special. The food is exceptional. Coffee and cake is a lovely touch. The location next to lovely bars and restaurants and walks with a fantastic view of the beach is just perfect. Beds are comfy, showers great, hot tub and sauna are a welcome treat. Everything is spotlessly and beautifully cared for.

Home away from home. The welcome, staff, food, ambience, safety, cleanliness all 5*. I would go back in a heartbeat.

It’s location, it’s staff (they were SO helpful and friendly), it’s personalised experience, the spa area, the breakfast, the coffee afternoon, the cleanliness of the room, the comfy bed, the environment, pretty much EVERYTHING!
