Charmant hotel avec panorama exceptionnel

Très bel hotel situé tout au fond de la baie La tonnara, au calme surtout en cette fin octobre (avec petit parking juste devant). Nous avions une suite vue mer très agréable, grand lit confortable. Le jardin est vraiment magnifique, la vue du toit époustouflante, surtout depuis la piscine. Accueil très sympathique, service impeccable ! Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le petit déj et le diner, tous deux servis dans une très belle salle, avec petite musique d'ambiance.

Pas grand chose : la baignoire balnéo n'est pas très érgonomique (trop grande, peu confortable) la lumière de la fenêtre à travers la vitre de la salle de bain

Tolles Hotel in leider nicht attraktivem Umfeld

Das Hotel ist neu, sehr modern und geschmackvoll. Wunderbares Zimmer, großes Bad und bestes Bett auf Sizilien! Das Restaurant war gut , aber hochpreisig. Das Meer ist wegen Kieselsteinen sehr klar und sauber. Für 2 Tage gut…

Die Umgebung ist leider trostlos, kein Restaurant, keine Bar in der Nähe . Man muss mit dem Auto nach Milazzo fahren , der Ort ist aber auch nicht der Hit . Nach der landschaftlich schönen Fahrt entlang der Küste von Palermo kommend , war diese Gegend von Sizilien leider eine Enttäuschung.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful position.

We loved the position, the staff and the quality of the hotel,

For the price charged we would expect the hotel to have a bar as well as a restaurant with a small bar, we did make use of the rooftop bar and pool but on our second night the restaurant was closed for a private party and there was nowhere to have a night cap drink after returning to the hotel from dinner.

The hotel design, it is clean and modern.

Where to start… We have arrived by car and parking space was difficult to find. They have public parking by the beach which is of course filled with locals who enjoy the beach. Then we got to our room and the upgrade that we had was not worth it - the window of the whirlpool/bathtub is very dirty and has a view onto a construction site. Upon asking about whether the window could be cleaned the nice woman at the reception kept repeating the same thing that they cannot clean it every day like I am some child (I understood her perfectly the first time she said it). But this was all minor issues. We came here during our honeymoon trip for 3 nights, received no special welcome whatsoever, and upon booking they have informed us that there would be a wedding on one day - which we have no problem with. However, the first night there was also an “event (dinner+music)” which they informed us about during the week we would be arriving (too late to cancel at this point). We assumed it would be some live band playing during dinner, but it turned out to be a full-blown EDM disco till 2 am, and the bass was so loud it we could feel it on the bed. The hotel manager (?) was quite rude to us in the morning saying that we were informed - but we were not - they were purposefully vague in their messages. So out of our 3 planned days there, we could not use any of the amenities for 2 days, and the third day we would be leaving. We accepted a 50% loss on our booking to check out after one night and find a different location, and are now staying in a nice family owned location that actually cares for the experience of their guests. Ngonia should decide if they want to be a hotel or a party location.

Fabulous boutique accommodation away from the beaten track

The hotel manager, Peppe, was exceptionally resourceful and friendly! He literally made our vacation several notches better with his recommendations of local food, delis, stores, and basically any information we needed. In general, the stay was flawless. Amazing sea views from the room, the hotel restaurant, and the rooftop pool. Great breakfast, great service. Highly recommend.

Nice place but overpriced

Great view, fantastic garden, clean room

It was very dirty at the beach in front. Full of different garbage. It was overpriced in general, they’re trying but it only succeeding in the high prices. We tried to bring water from outside and some popcorn and we had to argue with them, because they wanted us only to use the things from the minibar, but there was not so many things inside and it was (as you can guess) overpriced.

Excellent hotel with great service! Everyone of the staff went above and beyond…

Breakfast was wonderful, we had a lot of choices and the lady serving us took excellent care of us. The food was delicious and prepared very well.

An absolute gem of a place

What a lovely hotel. I needed somewhere for one night in Milazzo before catching a train & booked based purely on prior reviews, and it entirely lived up to expectations. So much so I would like to return for a longer stay. Such lovely helpful friendly staff, especially Peppe who could not have been kinder and the lovely housekeepers who helped me with my bags, the room was big and comfy with an amazing shower & balcony with great view across the bay. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff so nice with excellent wine recommendation! Nice choice of breakfast. Rooftop with small pool and amazing views. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow me to make use of the garden & pools or the beach opposite, but the location is perfectly placed for a quiet relaxing stay.

Beautiful escape

Beautiful rooftop pool, peaceful grounds, great dinner. We were the only ones there the first night and they kept the restaurant open to serve us dinner. The brunch included made to order omelette, eggs, and pancakes.

The casseta that we stayed in wasn’t as updated as the rooms in the main building. The bar hours were limited. The beach nearby is nothing special and had trash on it.

Fantastic location , on the end of the road nearby the beach. Sweat garden. Large modern room with a beautiful view on the sea. Very tasty breakfast . The staff was very helpful and nice.

Very poor internet in the area so it's hard to work with computer

We gave it a 10 because: Very friendly check-in, very nice room, very good mattresses and pillows, very friendly and customer oriented staff, very good location right on the beach at the end of a very quiet street, very good and rich breakfast, very clean hotel, exceptional cleaning of the room, even our shoes were lined up :), very nice and good restaurant for dinner with great service and the WIFI worked perfectly and fast. Thank you very much for the great service to the whole team!

Beautiful and underpriced - very few flaws!

Beautiful view, wonderful staff, great value for money! The beds were super comfortable and everything was beautiful.

I only wish the balconies were a bit more private, as they were pretty exposed to the crowded street. Breakfast could have been better too

Fantastic hotel, amazing Sicilian experience

Excellent four stars hotel. We loved the garden with the swimming pool and easy access to the sea. On the last night they organized a Sicilian night with traditional food, wine and music. Fantastic experience!

The area where it is located is not really touristy, so not much to do besides swimming and chilling.

amazing location, lovely restaurant, breathtaking views, close to be 100% perfect with a little touch

the location, the restaurant and the pool. the staff of the restaurant was exceptional, we had a problem with our car in the middle of the night and they did their best to help us. we did appreciate it!

The absence of a 24-hour reception. The quality of the cleaning: in our room we always had to leave the windows open to bring some fresh air, some spider nets in such a lovely and well furnished room in such an amazing place were a pity. Last, but not least, the breakfast was not “Sicilian style”, I think it could be improved as Milazzo offers amazing delicacies!

Phenomenal!

Everything was excellent!!! I stayed with my Mum… Mother, daughter holiday and our stay was perfect!!!! Best hotel, we will be coming back! This hotel was our last hotel after a 5 week holiday around Europe and it was the perfect ending to our trip. A huge thank you to Peppe and all staff they were amazing, extremely friendly, and so helpful, going above and beyond!

Couldn’t fault this hotel! It was 10/10!!!

Semplicamente stupendo

Ngonia Bay is a stunning hotel situated with spectacular views to the sea. The interior design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Luxurious and refined the rooms have everything and more. The hotel staff really go above and beyond to help and nothing was too difficult for them!! I would definitely return !!

The jacuzzi on the roof top wasn’t heated.
