Nestled in Orvieto, this attractive condo for $95 per night is a great option for your next break. The accommodation is in the historic center, in a very quiet neighborhood. Finely renovated in 2016. It has a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. The accommodation can accommodate up to 5 people. The kitchen is equipped with every comfort and utensils (fridge and freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, espresso coffee machine and American coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender). Guests will find tea, coffee pods, dry biscuits and items for breakfast at their disposal. TV present in each bedroom and in the living room. Bed linen and towels available. Wi-fi service present. Available washer / dryer. A small outdoor garden and a terrace with a splendid panoramic view can be used. The Casetta is located very close by walking on foot to the covered public parking called Ex Campo della Fiera or Campo Boario, connected to the city center by lifts and escalators built inside the cliff. The minimum price refers to the stay for n. 3 people. Each guest above the third person pays an added price of € 15.00 per night. Additional daily cleaning possible on request for € 20.00. Telephone contact is appreciated at least one hour before arrival. Check-in from h. 15 at h. 23. Check-out within h. 11. Upon check-in, guests are requested to provide a valid copy of their identity document for each guest. Smoking is not allowed in the house, nor is it possible to organize parties or events Animals are not allowed. The city of Orvieto has its own motorway exit and has a railway station on the Rome / Florence line. You can reach Rome in 1 hour and Florence in 1 h 1/2. La Casetta is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Guests can also use a small outdoor area. In 5 minutes on foot you can reach Piazza della Repubblica and Corso Cavour or the City Center.

We enjoyed our short stay. It was immaculate and cozy. The view was very nice and made for a photo memory. Chiara is a sweet woman, and very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place and may return myself some day.

the house was immaculate but the selling point was the outside space and position within the town.although completely central the space outside was a delight for eating and being.
The hostess was so helpful, booking taxi's for us for arrival and departure. There was cooking equipment and different coffee machines with coffee. Orvieto was a beautiful place and we stayed a week without a car. easy to get to from Rome.

This lovely apartment was well maintained and very clean. It was nicely decorated and well equipped. Good communication with the owner. The patio was wonderful for dining, cocktails or just enjoying the sun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Chiara was super lovely and accommodating. She met us at the parking lot and walked us to the house, and gave us a great introduction to the place. She was always in contact, and wanted to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The home is in a great location, and is decorated very well. The outdoor garden was a perfect hideaway for lounging and eating a meal. We arrived during a heat wave, and unfortunately there was no air conditioner. Chiara explained that usually there is no need for one, but due to the extreme weather conditions it did make sleeping difficult. This was simply unfortunate timing, and to no fault of the host, but something to keep in mind if visiting during the summer. One other thing to note is there was some water damage from some flooding upstairs. We spoke about it and Chiara did say she would be having it looked at after our stay.

Bella casa posizionata nella parte medioevale della città.
Il soggiorno è stato all’altezza delle aspettative. Proprietaria cortese e disponibile, casa dotata di tutto dal lavastoviglie al necessario del bagno con una pulizia impeccabile. A un passo dal centro e dal parcheggio esterno alla rupe che raggiungi con gli ascensori. Permette di vivere Orvieto e non solo di visitarla. Stunning and Quaint
This property is very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. Chiara was always quick to reply to our questions even when we got lost walking the windy narrow streets after sunset our first night out. I highly recommend staying here as it is almost midway between Rome and Florence yet is a destination in itself with its stunning views, rich history, good dining, and romantic atmosphere. Who wouldn’t want to stay in a walled city? I’ve never felt safer and the city is extremely clean.

This apartment has been totally updated and represents the best in equipment. Such a pleasure to have good bright lights in every room. It is well laid out for its size, and the outdoor area is a plus. The laundry machine is located in a small shed on the patio. Walking to just about any historic place in the city is easy from here. However we recommend that you have Chiara book you a taxi from the station to deliver you to the apt for 15 euros, as the public transport system she proposes ,while cheaper, means that you will be dragging your suitcases down a long narrow cobblestone road, and then up a shorter distance on more cobblestones for a total of 5-7 minutes walking depending on your physical condition. Chiara was prompt with her communication. The only downsides to this apt that we noticed is that despite its modernity, it has no AC, and only one portable fan. On the upside, most, but not all, windows have screens, an amazing rarity in Italy, where mosquitos where still happily buzzing around outside in late October. The apt says it sleeps 5, however, the 2 people sleeping in the living/kitchen/dining room will have to fold up the sofa bed before preparing breakfast. The front door is self locking and has no door handle, it can only be opened by a key. Quite easy to be locked out if you aren't paying attention, especially if you were just going to sit on the patio, you still need to key. None the less, we highly recommend this apartment and would mostly definitely return to it and recommend it to our friends. Highly rated, I 'd give it 6 stars if I could. Grocery shopping, bakery, etc all within a 10 minute walk or less.

We plan to be back!
We only stayed one night in Orvieto and are sorry it wasn't longer! The town is gorgeous, and Chiara's home is beautiful. It has obviously been renovated recently, and it could not have been cleaner. Chiara was kind enough to meet us at the parking garage and walk us to the apartment. She also recommended an excellent restaurant that is a short walk from her front door. The residents around us were friendly and quiet, and the bed was so comfortable. We slept wonderfully, which can sometimes be a challenge when you are away from home. One of our favorite things about the home was the gated patio and garden. It was the perfect place to have our morning coffee, which was provided along with snacks and items for breakfast. We were also able to do some laundry while staying there. I wholeheartedly recommend La Casetta di Orvieto! We have already decided that when we return, this will be our home-base while we visit the surrounding area. It is perfection!

Una casa perfetta nel cuore di Orvieto! La luce e i colori aggiungono un tocco di ricercatezza ad ogni singola stanza. Curata nei minimi dettagli, accogliente, pulitissima e in una posizione invidiabile.
Il giardino e la piccola terrazza lasciano intravedere il borgo medievale e sedersi lì, al mattino o alla sera, è un toccasana per l'anima e per la mente.
Chiara, la proprietaria, è impeccabile! Ha risposto in poco tempo alla mia richiesta, fornendo sin da subito indicazioni su come muoversi in città. Prima di accompagnarci a casa per il check in, Chiara si è offerta di mostrarci - proprio a due passi da casa - uno degli orizzonti più belli di Orvieto.

Perfect stay in Orvieto
Book this charming house in the oldest part of Orvieto, with sweeping views of the Tuscan hillsides and steps away from the Rupe. It has every convenience and a private courtyard. You will be delighted with this city and cottage! Wish we could have stayed longer.

A true find tucked away.
We really enjoyed our stay, unfortunately we didn’t get in till late evening so we went back to visit the town prior to leaving.
Chiara was a wonderful host and the apt was very clean.
We have nothing but great things to say and will certainly have good memories of our visit to ORVIETO.

Colorful retreat
We moved from a night in a hotel to spend our last night in Orvieto at this delightful place. Chairs was very patient with us as we were with a private tour and didn't know our arrival time.

Lovely apartment, charming hostess
We were four women recovering from a horseback riding trek in Italy. We stayed in Chiara's lovely apartment only one night but would have liked to stay longer. She was very accommodating and helpful. We would love to come back some day.

Enjoying Orvieto
We are 3 older American guests. We found Chiara’s small house in the Medieval part of Orvieto a very nice place to stay. It is clean, well stocked with dishes, appliances and food and has a lovely garden outside with flowering roses. The bathroom was very clean and nicely laid out. The only thing we would have helped us was to have been told to take a taxi from the train station as we are elderly. We had a great time in Orvieto

Everything we hoped for
Chiara is a wonderful host, immediately responding to every inquiry, and even meeting us at the bus stop in torrential rain with 2 oversized umbrellas to lead us to her wonderful apartment.
We have stayed in Orvieto a couple times before and we really enjoyed this apartment. It was perfect for the two of us, and we really enjoyed being just out of the touristy center of the town, but close enough that everything was only a 5 minute walk. We even found some wonderful restaurants and bars on this side of town that we hadn't encountered before, an ideal location.
When we return to Orvieto,we hope this place is available, it will be our first choice.

Absolutely wonderful!!
If there was an opportunity to give this 10 stars that is what we would give it. Chiara is a wonderful host and her apartment is impeccably clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and charmingly decorated. Everything about it was great.
This is our first, but not last, trip to Italy. And of all the places we’ve stayed, this is our favorite. Not only Chiara’s place, but the entire town of Orvieto. It was the experience we hoped we’d have in Italy - astounding art and architecture, fabulous food, quite and relaxing strolls around historical neighborhoods, and great local wine. We’ve visited Venice, Cinque Terre, Florence, Rome, and Orvieto and pretty much loved them all (Rome not quite as much as the others). But our experience in Orvieto was unquestionably the most enjoyable. We will definitely return and we will definitely stay here again - just for a longer period of time! Thank you Chiara.

Absolutely fantastic
This place is a gem for many reasons. The location offers a lovely garden and patio where you can sit and have a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, or dinner if you decide to cook at home in the very accommodating kitchen. It offers beautiful views, location in the old town, but on the edge of town out of the hustle and bustle where it is calm and peaceful. Chiara is utterly kind, helpful and genuine and she makes sure your stay offers everything you need. She supplied us with coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice, toasts and jam for our breakfast and has a full kitchen with all needed utensils. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is even better than the photos. We felt so well take care of and cared for. Chiara's graciousness made us feel quite welcome and comfortable. She is a lovely person who has created a lovely space.

A Great Apartment in Historic Orvieto
This is a well stocked apartment with everything you would need to enjoy your stay in Orvieto. Orvieto is a small Italian hill town that is very historic and with many points of interest. Everything, including restaurants, markets, shops and historic sites, is walkable from this apartment.
The apartment is lovely. The living area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom are very attractive, beautifully outfitted and spotlessly clean. There is a nice sitting area just outside with a great view of the Umbrian countryside. The neighborhood is charming and very quiet. Chiara was most attentive and met us with her car at the railroad station. She was always available to answer any questions about the apartment or Orvieto. We recommend Chiara’s apartment highly.We liked it and the town of Orvieto so well that we have already made arrangements to stay here again in 2018.

Superb
Chiara' s place is a lovely apartment. We had more than enough room and the place was very nice, clean and renovated. The town is really nice and we enjoyed the front porch with beautiful views of the valley. She was also very helpful in providing us all details on places to eat and visit. Thanks again.
