Modern and very comfortable rooms. Excellent pool area with lounges. The food offering is simple but very good. Staff are helpful. Good location out of the noise of chora but only a short walk to be in the action

We had a lovely, big, bright, quiet, comfortable, contemporary room with the most beautiful view of Chora - room 6.
Nice, quiet pool area to relax around.
Friendly staff and close to the town but yet in a quiet location.
Just to be aware that the hotel is up a hill but the owners help with transfers and provide a short cut into the town. This wasn’t an issue for us.
One of the four rooms was not quite as modern as the other three .. must be next on the list to be updated or a lower budget room.

Avanti Hotel was perfect for our short stay in Ios. My party took full advantage of the pool and nice view of the town form above. Within walking distance to city center and super easy to navigate after a night or 2 out. The staffing here was so attentive and helpful, especially Katerina, she was a gem. The staff helped with all request and offered insight to the island.
Rooms were a bit small and the pillow were flat so we asked for more pillows

Overall we found the staff to be very kind! The pool area was clean and modern with a lively view of Chora however we did feel as though there was a lack of atmosphere! The hotel was also in an ideal location to Chora with a great view and away from the noise of the village.
Th hotel was fine, and the rooms were serviced daily but it was not at all the hotel we thought we booked.
We were disappointed with the room we received as it did not reflect the pictures when booking. We didn’t receive one of the newly modernised rooms and felt rather misled. Upon checking after arrival, no rooms to the standard we were in are pictured. The aircon was outdated and ineffective, leaving the room very warm at night and us waking up to dry hung up clothes being damp in the morning .
There is an option to avail of breakfast at the hotel but this was not made clear to us and the lack of atmosphere made us feel awkward to ask.
