First Hotel Planetstaden

Siisti, hiljainen hotelli. Mukava henkilökunta ja hyvä aamupala. Sijainti oli loistava, Lundin keskustaan oli ehkä vartin kävely tms.

The property had a lounge area that was inviting and comfortable. The deluxe room was plenty large, the decor was nothing special but comfortable. It was located perfect for using the city and county transportation system.

The food served could have been better, it wasn’t bad, just not memorable. They had two bars but which was good, but one closed after dinner, the one with the tv, I was there during the World Cup , it would have been great to have watched it with others.

Everything was good. We get a really good service, broad varieties of food and very good and big room. The beds were very comfortable and very good pillows. The room size is big enough for three persons to stay.

The water pressure in the shower was too low.

Before arrival the hotel sent all the necessary information regarding parking and extras. Made everything clear regarding what has extra cost etc. The breakfast had a very varied and wide selection, was rather impressive! Care and consideration for gluten free and dairy free option. (the breakfast really did compensate for disappointment of the rooms) Enjoyed thr games lounge, itwas fun and nostalgic. The complimentary teas/ coffee and waters were much appreciated! The location from city centre i found fine . I didn't mind the 15-20 min walk. Glad there was parking and could reservea spot aheadof time (paid) A gym that was large as a membership gym for a hotel also impressive! The spa was nice. Flexible check in times. Seems like an ideal hotel for business trips and stop overs as it have decent facilities. A kettle with Tea and coffee in the rooms. Bikes are available too! Helpful staff, pleased to assist.

Wasn't too impressed with the rooms we had (single and twin). The window in the first room I had was faulty that wouldn't close and the shade broken so the sun would be in my face at sunrise. I did change rooms where I left the shade closed for the duration of my stay because it also seemed that if I'd tried to left it, it might also get damaged. Expected something better for 4 stars compared to what im used to. Rhe bathroom seemed a bit outdated, the shower curtain did make me cringe. The room I moved too and the double room both kettles were missing but there were cups and tea etc 😆. The double room we had was a bit cramped. No desk to put a laptop. As paying guests I would have appreciated the spa to also be complimentary. It would have been nice if the spa would also be open in during the week days in the mornings. It seems only on the weekend its open from 9am. I left on a Monday and so it would only open at 15h00! I find here, the rooms should be checked or the cleaners need to report whats faulty and missing from the rooms checking before guests check in. We checked in in the evening.
