Not in the heart of Split, but within walking distance of most things you would want to do. 15 minute walk to the Palace. Beach is more like half an hour.
Josip, the host was very responsive. The shower head was not working properly. We let Josip know on Sunday and on Monday he arrived with a new shower head and installed it in a minute or so. Everything worked fine after that.
My wife injured her foot while in town. We messaged and we're able to stay a little later on checkout day.
You can sign in to Netflix or Amazon Video on the apartment TV.
AC works well.
Would have been nice to be a bit closer to a beach. It is a walk up, so it's a couple flights of stairs.

Location good, very quiet at night, feels safe
Shower excellent, double bed very comfortable
Grocery shops a few minutes walk
About a 13 minute stroll to city center
There is only one air conditioning unit in the kitchen/living room, none of the two bedrooms have air conditioning, we visited in August and it was extremely hot!
The wifi is very slow and almost unusable, we used 5G roaming data on our phones which was excellent.
No lift so heavy luggage needs to be lifted up stairs
