Good location and basic hotel. Not a 4 star hotel!!!

the location

the room was very basic. it is not a 4 star hotel at all! the property is old and the rooms are tiny. bathroom was ok. you have to go downstairs for breakfast - which were 3 tables. we didn’t even know until our last day about it. it wasn’t what we were expecting and we probably got the smallest room possible.

Wonderfully Beautiful

it had loads of character felt very Parisian. it was situated perfectly in the centre of everything so we could walk everywhere - loads of restaurants, cafes and shops near by! we were greeted with a free bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to drink! and all the staff were very helpful!

The property is situated close to popular iconic sites, as well as easy access to the metro. However we used Uber to get around.

The hotel is incredibly small, the rooms are tiny. We stayed in a balcony facing room, which was still quite small. There are no porters, therefore have to manage luggage yourself. There is limited space in the rooms for bags and clothes therefore lived off the suitcase, which is a schlep opening and closing bags. The breakfast is in the basement, incredibly small space. It’s quite claustrophobic. Shower is in the bath tub, for tall adults it’s quite debilitating. There is no safe in the room, valuables had to be stored in the reception - which is inconvenient. There is no security at the door, we were told if someone gets a hold of the room card, they could come in and steal our belongings. This was quite disturbing.

Quite nice. Ok breakfast. Nice bed! Maybe a bit small bathroom.

Breakfast was nice, I gathered from a french standard that breakfast is usually not extensive. So my expectations were pretty low. But it was nice, Orange juice, egs, ham/cheese, yoghurt etc. Simple croisants & bread. Also the Bed was really good.

The bathroom/room was smaller then the pictures would suggest. One of the reasons we chose the hotel was because there was a bath in the bathroom. Only the bath was quite small and could barely fit one person.

Need to do better for a 4 star

Centrally located.

Overall not the best. Not the friendliest of staff when we checked in. Noise from next door rooms. Complimentary water was 1 x 500ml bottle when you arrived, when 2 ppl are residing in a room.

Fabulous weekend in Paris. Nothing to fault. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

the most beautiful location of Paris. you can go to many places by walk and metro station is very close to hotel. Receptionists are so help full and kind. Room sizes are very good. Lobby and library room are so lovely.

not satisfying housekeeping and breakfast services. Housekeepers and staff in the breakfast area are a bit rude as they can't speak English.

Amazing friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean rooms and peaceful neighbourhood.

I would have liked a more diverse selection of food for breakfast, for example, scrambled eggs instead of just cooked ones.

The shower curtain in our room had mold on the bottom. It was the only thing we did not like in our room, everything else was perfect.

great location, staff, room. breakfast included and good. room could have been cleaner.

great location. beautiful bathroom. great staff- we arrived late and staff made recommendation for a local restaurant that was excellent!!

I slept on a pull out bed. the fitted mattress cover had old blood on it. I didn’t complain since I slept on the other side and had a sheet between the mattress cover and myself. it was so late that first night when we noticed, I didn’t feel like calling about it.

A traditional hotel offering warmth, peace and comfort in an ideal location

There was a warm friendly reception, the room was traditional and fairly basic but warm, comfortable and quiet. It was also ideally situated less than a 10 minute walk from my office.

the bathroom and bedroom decor is a bit tired. we’ve been before and returned recently and it needs a spruce up but otherwise it’s lovely. for the price we were surprised that the quite basic breakfast wasn’t included.

Shower curtain over very narrow bath! Not seen a curtain in 4 star hotel before. Kettle provided but have to put on floor to connect. No chair. Breakfast very poor and not taken. More 3 than 4 star.
