Centrally located, felt very safe and great value. The man on reception was really lovely and so helpful with restaurant suggestions and how to get around the village - he made our stay!

Proximity to Château Azay-le-Rideau, parking on site, small and friendly, close to restaurants.
It would have been sweltering during the recent heatwave, but at least there was a fan when it was 27 degrees. No lift for luggage☹️.

A nice hotel a short walk from the centre of Azay Le Rideau and the chateau.
Room was big enough. Not huge but sufficient for a short stay. The bike storage facility was at the back of the property and a short walk from the hotel reception. The manager accompanied us to deposit the bikes and to collect them. He also charged the battery to our e-bike.
The room was not air conditioned. This was as expected and the portable stand fan was sufficient despite the hot temperatures.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
I think it is a French thing so no real complaint but a mini bar fridge would be great for keeping drinks cool.

The room with the toilet was ridiculously small. I was pleased to leave for that reason.
