Hotel Heide Kröpke

It was a very clean, specious hotel close to the Safari Park we went to. The swimming pool was a little cool but great if you want to swim fast, sauna was beautiful. The staff very friendly. We stayed for one night only, but the surroundings seemed great for hiking.

The pillows were really flat, like really really flat

The staff was amazing. They made the guests feel that they are really cared for. The food was good. There was also a spa on site but we did not use it.

The hotel is clearly split into 2 categories and we fell in the lower one. I can only advertise for my room, 14. There is no ventilation in the bathroom this assures steam in the whole room and you have to ventilate with the balcony and the hallway otherwise humidity is everywhere. The mattresses and pillows are past their replacement dates as they provide no support and you can feel the springs on your back. The pull out couch is not suitable for sleeping as the metal bars are protruding trough the thin foam mattress. The rooms in this side of the hotel are dated with damaged furniture and wooden windows that are unable to properly isolate. No blackout curtains also if this is what you seek.

Nice rooms but the list was broken and WiFi down the whole stay and not what I would expect from such an expensive hotel. Breakfast not included either which is not acceptable.
