Super comfortable on the edge of the old town centre.
The whole digital procedure (paperless) experience was stressful, and on checking out, still getting a watsapp reminder to pay the bill we already had paid via booking.

My room:
Bed was really comfy. Room was clean. Bathroom spotless. Even had a kettle and coffees and teas for you. This was perfect.
Room had a comfy chair. Big desk. Large tv.
Staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Location:
Hotel has a good car park for guests.
Easy to get in and out of.
The hotel itself is in a nice spot.
If you are wanting to go on the steam train, then the station is literally next door. The train departs from platform 3. And you pay on the train (at time of writing)
To get to the old town turned out to only be a 5 minute walk.
If I come back to Quedlinburg in the future then i’d defiantly come back here.

Managed, un-managed or mis-managed? Hard to say, but for sure un-manned, and when manned, occupied with a seemingly un-motivated staff.
But if you fancy checking in online and enter information already delivered by booking.com, dates of birth and passport number, spending half an hour locating your hotel, calling an online service, in german language, and are traveling with your own toilet paper, this hotel may be for you (nice rooms).
You have to travel through a cordoned off area to reach the hotel, and the owners haven't bothered to signboarding the hidden entrance to the hotel or sending some instructions on how to reach the hotel, while you receive a lot of useless information, like birth of date, for both occupants, are mandatory through on-line checkin.
And the phone number given to contact the remote hotel service leads to nowhere! like the PIN received for retrieving the room key was false.
