The vintage villa feel what we was looking for, hosts where very good, decent push bike on offer also so had a lovely ride along river recommend. Loads of parking and close to centre of village square.

Nice small hotel in an old villa. Its not a 4 star hotel, it is 3 star hotel in an old italian style, very charming.
Free parking places in the hotel yard.
Nice breakfast and excellent stuff in the hotel.

We only spent one night here, the elderly gentleman at the reception was very nice, which compensated a little for the disappointment caused by the hotel. We have been to many hostels, but we do not plan to come back here, even though its facilities are very good. The building is nice from the outside, it is located in the center, but inside it is already worn out, a renovation would do a lot for it.
We chose a room with a balcony in the hotel. However, we didn't get it, although I think there was only one other guest in the room besides us. I told the receptionist my problem and showed him the reservation, but he didn't understand. If I knew, I would choose the cheapest room, not the suite, because it's still good to sleep without a balcony. So it wasn't really worth it for me. The room and the hotel could do with a renovation, everything here is from the 80s. In the morning, while waiting for hot water, I had to run the water for 2 minutes to take a shower, I think it was because I got up early. Overall, it was a disappointment, and the extra price for the suite wasn't worth a single euro.
