Locația în sine este una cu multă istorie, personalul foarte amabil
Clădirea este una foarte veche , în camere miroase destul de mult a vechi ;în una dintre camere era un ventilator de tavan care atunci când l-am pornit am crezut ca o să se dărâme toată clădirea. Pe holul care ducea către baie a căzut tencuiala în timpul sejurului. Micul dejun foarte sărăcăcios : deși erau mai multe camere ocupate, zilnic erau doar 4-5 felii de prosciuto , 4-5 felii de cașcaval , o farfurie cu roșii tăiate și una cu castraveți tăiați plus ouă fierte și produse de patiserie .

Endroit exceptionnel et magique ! on se croirait chez soit ou dans la famille . Petit déjeuné excellent et copieux . Les chambres sont spacieuse , confortable et silencieuse. Le plus très belle piscine dans un jardin très bien aménagé .

Een prachtig historisch pand met veel karakter. Bij aankomst moesten we even terugkijken naar de foto’s op Booking om te zien waarom we hiervoor hadden gekozen. We waren de enige gasten en daardoor voelde het geheel wat verlaten aan.
Op de binnenplaats waren de stoelen bijvoorbeeld niet aangekleed met kussens en bij het zwembad stonden de ligbedden wat rommelig en schots en scheef. Kleine dingen, maar juist die details zorgen ervoor dat een accommodatie verzorgd en uitnodigend aanvoelt. Wellicht kwam dit doordat er op dat moment geen andere gasten waren.
Ook de communicatie was wat lastig (wel heel vriendelijk!) omdat er geen Engels werd gesproken en we daardoor vooral via Google Translate communiceerden. Voor ons hoort bij een verblijf niet alleen de mooie locatie, maar ook de gastvrijheid, het contact en het verhaal achter zo’n bijzonder pand. We hadden graag iets meer gehoord over de geschiedenis van dit prachtige kasteel.
Het voelde daardoor voor ons meer als een appartement waar je de sleutel krijgt dan als een plek waar je echt onderdeel bent van de ervaring.

Old Palace with charming courtyard.
The pool was broken, the breakfast was limited, the sofa bed in the family room was very uncomfortable. Disappointing given this was the most expensive place to stay on our trip and we stayed in much nicer places for half the price.
