The pool
The ac wasn’t cold enough

The food and bar service was excellent and the staff were very attentive.
In view of fact the weather was very warm it was a pity the pool wasn’t open

First the "good" - the staff were all very nice, helpful, and pleasant - they were all great! The property itself is very nice, a renovated old structure and they "did it right". It really is a nice place to stay, with a pool and an on-site decent restaurant.
...and that said, they KNOW they have a nice, renovated place with a pool and a restaurant! And the price reflects that. I think they're trying to recoup the expenses for all the structure and services, fast! The place was ridiculously over-priced (its nice, but not THAT nice), and I think at least partly because there was a big wedding party there the night we stayed. Unfortunately we were walking The Camino, and having booked lodging late, there simply weren't any great options (at least I didn't know there were - turns out we went to the wrong town Vilagarcia versus Vilanova...who knew?). Anyway, its a nice place to stay, and probably fantastic for a wedding. For a quick overnight stop while on The Way? Absolutely not! You can stay for probably half or less and be just as happy. Especially if you are in the right town to start with...
