I have stayed at the Link several times previously, usually travelling alone. I feel safe in this hotel as an older woman on her own. The location is excellent for my journey home to Sheffield and there is plenty of free parking. The rooms are spacious, with large beds and I have always found them very clean. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. .

Location was perfect for the stay. Room was well laid out.

Easy to find and plenty of parking
Good value for the night
The plug sockets were too far away from the bed.
There were some stains running down the paintwork on the wall.
There was a loud party under the room in which my daughter stayed

The location was perfect for our need.
Good variety breakfast, decent quality & taste.
Nice dining & seating area.
Staff were pleasant & helpful.
Rooms in need of tlc & diy! Walls marked & scraped. Bathroom a bit grubby with moving tiles on floor. Overall could be cleaner, skirtings dusty & dirty, carpet looked dirty with stains on it too.
Evening meal menu is slightly limited, would benefit from an update. Found food to be average.
A buffet was bring served for a group, it smelt amazing would have preferred a bit of that.
