Historical old family run hotel with artefacts displayed throughout the hotel. Full of character with a lovely garden area which has a family of turtles!.The food is excellent..traditional french food cooked very well . Highly recommended to stay if you visit the beautiful town of Cauterets.

This hotel was all about charm and kindness, a journey into the past that despite some winding routes to our room and tight spots only made the hotel more charming. If you want Holiday Inns, this is not for you. If you love charm and kindness and appreciation of history, stay here.

The staff are heaven. SO warm and friendly, they can’t do enough for you, they are so kind. The breakfast was perfect and everything was homemade, so gorgeous. Comfortable rooms and lovely decor.
They gave us our own space, but had there been someone in the other room we would have had to share a bathroom….. though it’s possible that they don’t ask you to share unless you’re one group. I can’t imagine they would have inconvenienced anyone because they are so lovely.

this was an excellent hotel that exceeded its three star grading. the hotel owners go out of their way to be helpful. we ate our meals in the hotel and the food was excellent and they looked after special dietary requirements with no fuss.

The property had lots of character and was very clean and comfortable. A central location in the town so no need to drive anywhere to get anything you might need. Personally I would eat here, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Cocktails are great !!! We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing to dislike, although there were some tortoises in the garden area and I worried in case I trod on one

This was an old family run hotel, recommended by some friends. The decor was traditional with some beautiful cross-stitch samplers on the walls. The rooms were large and comfortable, each with its individual decor; and with a small fridge. We are in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was traditional and fabulous! There is a lovely cosy bar and lounge area. The family were very welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again!!
