Great location just 10 minutes walk from the shores of Lake Maggiore. Guy behind the bar was particularly friendly and helpful.

The leading photo of the cloister was misleading as we did not experience it during our stay. This was a motel-like experience.

The location is good

The breakfast is poor, the hotel is loud and run down. The worst part are the staff that frequently ignore (on purpose) the guests who are standing and waiting to get served/ speak to them. We observed this on multiple occasions, very odd.
