Location is very central. The hotel restaurant looks directly over to the red cliffs for which the town of Roussillon is famous. There are other local restaurants within a minute's walk of the hotel. Room price was very reasonable considering the standard of the room and location. Staff were pleasant and helpful and were able to move things around so that we could stay a second night in the same room. English is spoken.
Roussillon is somewhat off the beaten track and taxi and car rental services are some way away (Avignon, Aix, Grenoble) but that is no fault of the hotel. Access to the hotel's parking is not available during public events such as the Feria bullfighting festival that was going on the weekend of our stay (there was no actual bullfighting - tradition only). The hotel did let us know about it after we booked, The booking was non-refundable but we liked it so much we stayed another day.
