The location was perfect, surrounded by serene countryside and nature. It allowed us to fully relax and unwind and felt at home here. The room was outstanding - we were given a free upgrade to a suite which had a sauna in the room! It was an incredibly kind gesture and an amazing surprise.
The dinner was fantastic - fresh quality ingredients. The highlight was the baked camembert.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

The location is exceptional. Although it is outside the historic city centre, it is very easy to reach, and this also guarantees a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity.
The property is a beautifully restored historic farmhouse, and the restoration has managed to preserve its original spirit while creating a very easy-going and cosy&chic atmosphere. You immediately feel at home and completely relaxed.
As a dog owner, I would also like to mention something that is not at all a given: our dog was welcome in every area of the hotel, including the poolside area (with the obvious exception of the pool itself for hygiene reasons). This made our stay particularly enjoyable and stress-free.
If I had to mention one small thing, more as a note for future guests than as a criticism, it would be that the service is very limited on Sundays and Mondays. We actually checked in on a Sunday, but the team was nevertheless extremely helpful and present, welcoming us personally and even sending us a WhatsApp list of restaurants open nearby and in the city. So, despite the reduced service, we felt very well looked after.

lovely old building, we had dinner at the restaurant in the evening, superb meal, local produce
unfortunately our bed linen was not clean, mattress cover had a unpleasant stain, the pillows did not have pillow protectors, again stained, also the quilt was not pleasant, a real shame, as this really let the hotel down, the rooms also need some updating and redecorating
