Continental breakfast had a little variety but was pretty much the same each day. Good location, close to shops, restaurants, tavernas, cafes and supermarkets. The Lady at reception who dealt with our complaint couldn't have been more helpful in trying to resolve various issues we found on arrival and gave us a free bottle of wine and huge fresh fruit platter by way of an apology. Recommend using Minoan Travel for taxis if you need transport or Hotel/airport transfers. Food at Finikas restaurant was the best, followed by Marem.
Room 52 should NEVER be occupied. It is old, dirty, dark, depressing and falling apart. As well as having 4 cockroaches within our first 15 mins ! Bed as hard as rock. Next morning at 9am we demanded to be moved to another room, which was made available within 2 hrs.Blistering heat and humidity 24/7 and it took 72 hrs for air con to be fixed. Pictures on website are misleading. This is an old hotel, with lovely character, but is in urgent need of more general routine maintenance to rooms & TLC, more greenery and more soft touches to the rooms. Rooms and bathroom are of a very basic set up, and would def benefit from a refurb here & there. Very poor garden views and very limited number of rooms with sea views, although when booking, it asks if you have a preference ? Recommend giving people a sun parasol to use on their balcony or terrace, as there is almost zero shade and it was too hot to sit outside between 2pm-6pm each day.

Chambre à l’entrée de la résidence donc pas du tout comme sur les photos alors qu’à la réservation il est indiqué vue sur jardin et piscine
Tout petit espace extérieur
Il est notion de parking privé mais seulement 4 places devant la résidence sinon il faut payer un autre parking
Résidence vétuste quant aux aménagements intérieurs, odeur bizarre dans les placards de la cuisine…
Bref déçus, nous nous attendions à mieux
