It was my first experience of a truly Japanese Ryokan the first time I had slept on a futon or stayed in hotel room like this. It was fantastic, although I won’t be swapping my bed for a futon when I get home. The breakfast was a revelation a big fish gourmet delight.

Booked 2 rooms next to each other. Clean and big rooms. Breakfast was good. Host connected with me and arranged special vegetarian meals. They had shuttle transfer available for free to ferry terminal.

Good location, ferry transfer to the property is helpful specially in hot weather as the property is up the hill. Staff is very nice. The hotel is not new but clean
