We were very happy with our 8-day stay at Cavos. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was bright, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The views from the balcony were phenomenal. The infinity-like pool was clean and inviting. The kitchenette was small, with limited utensils and amenities, but had enough items that we were able to make a few simple dinners in the room. The location was good -- close enough to town to be convenient but far enough out to separate us from the crowds. There are no shops or restaurant within walking distance. I would highly recommend renting a car and exploring the island.
Tinos itself was a very pleasant surprise, with more of a village vibe than a touristy feel, especially outside of Tinos town. Most visitors to the island were Greek families, very different from nearby Mikonos. The beach by the hotel was so-so, but we found a couple other beaches that we liked: La La Louza, just a mile or two away, and Kolymbithra, 30-40 minutes drive on the other side of the island. We ate only a few meals at the hotel restaurant, which was good but not great. Nearby restaurants we would recommend are Veranda and Duo Horia.
As noted above, the beach by the hotel was OK -- we spent a few afternoons there -- but it is small and not as pleasant as some of the "organized beaches" elsewhere. But at least the beach beds are free (for hotel guests) and the hotel does provide beverage and food service there.

The property is exceptional in terms of location, room size, cleanliness and staff. We had a great time overall.
The restaurant's food need a bit of work and the pool and pool area are quite disproportionate to the size of the complex.
