A real gem, stunnning views and a warm friendly service

Everything about the hotel was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A big efcharistó from us and thank you for a wonderful stay. The family and staff were all very kind and friendly, always available and visible around the hotel, the view was amazing with a clear sunrise every morning, good size rooms, shaded areas for when it got too hot, the local information provided was excellent, great advice on where to go and help in booking great quality taxi transfers and a trip to a hard to reach location. The breakfast was exceptional, a range of options and we could sit at poolside over breakfast for as long as we wanted. The cleaning service was outstanding, rooms cleaned on a daily basis and we were even provided with a room to use after checkout due to our late flight back home, the bar staff and food was excellent we had some food at the hotel following a late arrival and the following evening with a gyro meal ‘exochos’, couldn’t recommend it enough. The pool and loungers were always available, the Aegean View Hotel is a truly fantastic place to stay with an authentic and traditional Greek style if that’s what you are looking for with a relaxed and comfortable holiday you can’t go wrong, would I go again ? Yes and would I recommend it ? Definitely.

Some have mentioned the hill though wasn’t really a problem and without it you wouldn’t get the great view.

Had a lovely short stay and would recommend this hotel.

Great views, room was very good, lovely shower room. Aircon included in price. Kitchenette facilitates very good. Comfortable bed. Staff excellent and very helpful. They booked a taxi for us to meet us at the airport and they organised a taxi to take us to the port. Near to all resort bars and restaurants and beach. Pool area was fab. Breakfast very good and available from 8 until 11.

We liked everything about the property, however there is a bit of an incline when walking back to the property, and lots of steps, which could be a problem for some that have mobility issues.

Like in paradise..

Wonderful and unbelievable view on sea and rocks. Kindly and helpful staff. For breakfast everything we needed. Clean rooms and our area.

family run, very friendly, clean, lovely pool and helpful staff. perfect location, walking distance from the bars, beach and restaurants but far away enough to not get any noise. Also the food here is really good!

Aegean View hotel is a high class in its facilities and vibe, and a family oriented in its service!

Beautiful view, good food, great staff and amazing staying experience! We loved the big room, the comfort and clean pool, the kind welcoming of George, the wonderful food of Tasos at the pool area restaurant, and the big-heart service of all the other staff members! Can't wait to come back!

Kamari short stay

Wonderful, helpful staff. Large room with equipped kitchen area. Decent shower with toiletries. Good WiFi. Lovely balcony with sea view and seating. Pool area with enough chairs/loungers - attached bar sells cold drinks and ample snacks/meals. Separate terrace area was nice. Breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of fresh fruit and veg, hot food, cereals and pastries.

Pleasant, Delighted and Awesome as it can be

1. It is a perfect for Families 2. The views include Mountain and Sea ,our room was just besides the Mountain 3. ALL the staff at the Hotel are very very helpful and welcoming 4. The location is 5-8 mins walk to Kamari Beach 5. Breakfast was good with Fresh omletes of asked 6. It is also a few mins car drive to the Shack area, which is a must visit for night drink and dinner 7. The pool area is very nice 8. We had one night's dinner on the upper deck near pool, was memorable with excellent service 8. Sunrise from the hotel was added bonus 9. Again ALL the hotel people are extremely GOOD

The location was excellent the hospitality we received was over & above it is a family run holiday hotel the owner Tatos & his family couldn't do enough for everyone & was always available for our needs nothing was to much trouble for him this is our third time of staying there & we as a family would highly recommend Agean View Hotel for a perfect holiday stay

Amazing place

This was a great little find. Family run hotel. The staff could not do enough for you. Best customer experience we have ever had. Tassos is a machine. Demetri was a great laugh and took time to show you all to do in Santorini and made great cocktails! Room was spacious and some nice little touches with water and juice provided at start of trip. The fish they can make for you from a local fisherman is phenomenal. Amazing views from the location to watch the sunrise. I could not recommend this hotel enough. If I ever go back to Santorini I will definitely stay here. Lovely chilled vibe.

Breakfast with a few extra choices would be great. However what was on offer - fruits and yoghurt etc were delicious

Lovely sea view room close to bus , beach and shops

Great location- 5 min walk to bus stop, close to markets ' restaurant and beaches. Customer service - excellent Swimming pool- excellent Value for money-excellent Room- very spacious for family quiet Pool bar- good services. Nice chips Breakfast bar- average but made omlette and pancakes on order Shuttle service from airport-€20 great service Cleanliness- 5 star Loved the hotel cant fault anything, had a wonderful time. Would love to stay again.

Breakfast is good due to ordering fresh made pancakes and omelettes. Small sized facility, not too big. On a hill with nice views. Can be windy but also pleasant at hot days. Value for money is very good, and staff very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned each day.

Beds can be improved. Not bad, but also not great. Lightning not always working. TV was bad.

Superb

The hotel is at the more peaceful part of Kamari, but still very close to the central shops and the beach (10 min walk). The view from the terrace is splendid, and evenings are very calm there. Rooms are simple, but spacious and the family room was equipped with a kitchenette. The staff (mostly one family) is very welcoming and friendly, we really did feel almost as visiting some distant relatives. The pool is nice and big enough. The breakfast is tasty, offering fresh eggs or omelets in addition to the usual continental stuff. Very kids friendly also. Overall, very good experience.

The hotel is at the side of the mountain, thus the sun goes behind it sooner than down at the beach. If choosing the family room with mezzanine, note that the upper mezzanine floor gets steaming hot and does not cool even after of several hours of air conditioning. Down floor was fine however. If the weather is windy, here it’s even windier than at the beach, but in the summer heat it was ok.
