Our towels were changed every day. There is a parking space in front of the guest house. The hostess was polite, contactable, and always smiling.
Attention can be paid to small details that spoil the overall impression. For example, mold that has grown on the walls can be covered up with relatively little effort. The siphons in the bathrooms can probably be unclogged at no extra cost. Showers spray everywhere, but not in the direction they are aimed. In some places, it is enough to pass the rag to remove the dirt, and in others the broom to remove the cobwebs.
Perhaps these problems did not exist in 2016 when the last rating from booking.com was 9.0. I don't think quality maintenance has been done to the guest house since then and at the moment I think a rating of more than 5 or 6 would be incorrect.
