The rooms themselves are very nice with a classic nice looking frame bed (which are very comfortable), decent kitchenette and a small bathroom. The room and hotel itself gave us the most relaxing feeling we ever had while travelling. However, what makes THIS hotel stand out and unforgetable compared to other hotels is the unbelievably immense hospitality of the host, who picked us up from the ferry harbour and is always very enthousiastic to give you hiking suggestions and tips for the area. Very highly recommended for hikers or people looking to relax.
The sound isolation of the rooms needs a little upgrade, which the owner says in the works very soon :)

Posizione ottima, vicino al mare ed ai ristoranti. Colazione buona. Propietari gentili e disponibili. Fantastica la gita in barca all''isola di Saria .

It was very near the beach. The room was clean and had a small kitchenette. The owner was friendly and gave us pears from his garden and pomegranates.
On the first night we arrived we saw an air conditioning unit but no controls. We went into the hotel and eventually got hold of the owners by phone to ask for the controller as it was so hot. They told us just to open the windows and in the morning we would get the controls. We spent a very hot sleepless night.
Breakfast was very basic too. I also messaged them about a lift from the port and no one answered me. His wife said she didn’t speak much English but managed to ask us for the 1.5 euros tax which she hadn’t added before we left!
