The location was fantastic. It was right in the center. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Parking was close to the hotel, what is perfect specially for such locations in the city center. Stuff was very helpful.
The breakfast was a bit poor, we were expecting a bit more for this money, but overall it was OK and we were not hungry. The rooms were without air condition and sometimes there was quite hot. Sometimes smell from cigarettes.

This was our second stay at Carpe Diem, and once again, everything was wonderful. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We travelled with our dog, and one of us is vegan. After informing the hotel in advance, they provided vegan cheese, yoghurt, milk and even bread for breakfast. We really appreciated the effort! We could also eat at the tables outside, so our dog could join us.
The secure parking behind the barrier is very convenient. The hotel is right in the Old Town, just a short walk from the main square, synagogue and restaurants. Our third-floor room had a balcony with a lovely view of the surrounding hills.
Highly recommended for guests travelling with dogs, vegetarians and vegans – just let the hotel know about any dietary needs in advance. We will happily return!

- the one of the worst bed mattress & sheets I ever slept in (tough and uncomfortable).
- in shower there was missing door handle
