Location was awesome, nice pool and hot tub, and a good breakfast with a lot of variety.
The room was smaller than we were expecting. We thought there would be a bedroom but this was one big room with bunk beds and a queen bed.

Family-run hotel - Marinella and Sabina were very friendly, helpful, and always there when needed. The hotel was perfect - we opted for a lake view room with balcony and it was amazing. Location was ideal, a one minute walk down to the pebble shore of Lake Garda and a pleasant 20 minute walk into the centre of Malcesine.

The hotel has an amazing view over the lake which was lovely to wake up to.. The breakfast was generous and the breakfast room had a great view too. The pool was lovely on a hot day. Free parking was a bonus and the walk into town by the lake was lovely, as was the location.
Paper cups instead of proper cups in the room was a disappointment. Only one plug for the fridge, kettle and phone charging was a big problem. Very thin walls meant we could hear our neighbour snoring during the night and no screens between the balconies meant we didn't feel very private in our room. A knock on the door by the cleaner at 8am was an unwelcome surprise followed by loud vacuuming - not very relaxing for people on holiday. The dated decor didn't really match our expectations (or other similar rated hotels we have stayed in). The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable.The bathroom was tiny and the shower very weak and temperamental. We felt that it was quite a lot of money to pay for the limited facilities.
