Résidence "Le Golfe Bleu"

The apartment is located on a hillside with a nice path down to the beach. It's a really beautiful area, but there are lots of steps up and down to get anywhere. It was charming that way, but also a little bit hard work. The apartment had a decent supply of plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. No other cooking items (like oil or spices), but the kitchen was equipped well enough and there was a dishwasher. The 2 euro morning baguettes were delicious!

The apartment had no windows, just a glass door to the patio. There wasn't much of a view from the patio since we were on the lowest level. If you don't have a car, this is a somewhat challenging place to stay since there's no grocery store nearby and no restaurants all that close to walk to. You pay for bedding/linens - which were clean and nice but we had to make our own beds - and also pay for cleaning which means that the cleanliness of the apartment is really subjective depending on how much effort the last people put in or if they paid for cleaning. Finally, some of the facilities are just a bit dated - like the weird ping pong room.

We loved the location. Monaco is less than 30 minutes walk away, the bus is basically outside the door, the train is 10 minutes walk and the beach is super close and beautiful. Staff were lovely and welcoming and I felt right at home. The apartment is a good size with a bedroom and living area. We had a stunning sea view from the room. There is private access to the beach via a gate so its quick to get down and the beach is nice and quiet.

We loved it but the property/area may not suit elderly or disabled people as it has a lot of steep hills. There are no shops that are very close, you can take a bus to the Carrefour next to Monaco which is perfect but again it may not suit some people.

There wasn't a think I didn't like

Very uncomfortable bed, allergy to linens and towel,, poor internet, it’s called the goat’s track. Good for hiking, million stairs. Not recommended for older folks, have to be in top shape only positive thing is ocean view
