Lovely for a getaway from the city

Lovely herdade for a restful couple of days. The rooms are rustic and gorgeous and the pool area is beautiful. Low light pollution makes the night sky an experience.

The concept of a homey stay is cute however not always what you need... Such as communal dinner and breakfast table. The makeup room service came in at 11am and I requested to come in later and never did.

Great people and awesome location.

Inês, David and Teresa are wonderful people always ready to help with anything you need. We couldn’t be better serviced indeed, from check-in to checkout. Also, the property and the location are key to a relaxing trip.

Glasses didn’t seem to be much clean. Although Teresa is a handful cook, we think they could add game meat for the dinners. Also, the breakfast can be improved. Unfortunately, there were no visit to vineyard nor wine tasting since the person in charge of these activities weren’t there.

Below expectations.

The location was great, but hard to get to. Room was nicely designed but lacked a lot of basic facilities.

The service! With the exception of one intern who was customer oriented the other members of staff were just interested in selling the wine the herdade produces.

The location in the middle of a vinyard and olive trees, close to Guadiana river. Very nice owners that joined for dinner.

Stunning Oasis

It was an excellent a truly superb stay. Much more impressive than the photos can display. Beautifully restored buildings with gorgeous decorations/artefacts. Stunning property. Wine tastings, evening meal, breakfasts and hosts were all magnificent. We will be recommending this Herdade to family and friends.

The place to enjoy Alentejo Beauty

Everything!!! It has been beautifully restored, in a remote area, closer to Guadiana River. I absolutely loved all the house details (indoors and outdoors). Very spacious and bright with a superb view! Perfect place for a relax weekend and to enjoy the beauty of Alentejo. Amazing and extremely friendly staff (Luís, Teresa and Inês were outstanding). They definitly contribuit for our wonderful stay. You also had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner, breakfast and taste their wines. Highly recommended it !

Winery in the middle of nature

Friendliness and flexibility of staff, excelent food, beautiful and quiet place, excellent for resting some days. Wine is excellent and so was the honey from their own bees

Great stay, peaceful days

Superb breakfast and dinner. The pool view is breathtaking and the whole environment is just like you see in the pictures.

The room lacked a bit of storage space.

Magnificent

This place is great: it has been marvellously restored from the old foundations. It is excellent, if you like the loneliness and the sounds of silence, that is.

There is Wi-Fi coverage only in one public room.

Breathtaking views, amazing food and wine, authentic atmosphere

Very warm welcome from Luis, very tasty breakfast with home made traditional food, super comfortable beds. There is a lounge house where you can enjoy relaxing music with fireplace and candles. I would recommend wine tasting with amazing views on the vineyards valley.
