The accommodation was great value for money and located right in the centre of Alishan Township. I would definitely recommend staying in this area, as everything is close by and the entrance to the park is just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly, and the room offered great value for the price. The only minor downside was that the bed was a little uncomfortable, but that was just a small detail. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is inside the recreational area and just a short walk to the entrance of the park. This is the reason why I booked it. The room was small but for one night it was perfectly fine. I read the reviews other people left and they were pretty negative, so I showed up with low expectations. I think the room was good for what I needed and the bed was comfy. They even offered a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant.
The receptionists looked as if they could not be bothered to do their job. You have to pay in cash, which was not my preferred method of payment, but I planned for it. The only negative thing is the price. The prices are too expensive for what they offer, but if you want to stay inside the recreational area you have no other option but to pay a high price for a basic room. All the other hotels were even more expensive.

Small room, which was ideal to keep the room warm in the cool Alishan climate. Well situated, clean & comfortable enough for 1 night in Alishan. Nice compact Japanese style bath in the room. Big points for the dehumidifier, which dried all of our wet clothes overnight.
The room is overpriced for what it is, but considering the location it did make it worth it. The breakfast really is terrible - go to the food court instead for some authentic Taiwanese food.

Convenient that it didn’t book out like the other hotels in Alishan
Not very clean not very large and no aircon in the times it’s hot.
