Exceptional guest house! So unique, attention to detail is top notch. Errol and Venita are wonderful hosts and Ruby is the cherry on top. The staff are warm, friendly and have the place running like a well oiled machine. The garden is absolutely stunning and the bar / dining area has so much character.
We stayed in the family room which was perfect for our family of 4. The studio and deluxe suite are divine, we had a look at them whilst there.
All in all, a must stay in Outdshoorn.

After many long hours on the road, we received the warmest welcome from Errol and Venetia. La Pension is a beautifully restored guesthouse, with love, care and hard work evident in every detail. The garden is absolutely beautiful. It is clear how much Errol and Venetia love what they do, and their genuine passion for hospitality shines through in the way they make their guests feel welcome and at home. Their staff were just as friendly and welcoming.
We also loved spending time with all their adorable pets! The bathroom was spacious, the bed super comfortable, and we had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was beautiful too.
After such a long journey, La Pension was the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge.
Thank you, Errol and Venetia, for making us feel so at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and sincerely hope to be back one day.

Errol was a very nice and helpful host. La pension is a little paradise. Great garden with a nice pool. Breakfast was great and more than enough. Can recommend to stay there and we would certainly stay there when visiting Oudtshoorn again

Beautiful property with lush grounds, La Pension was a great find and definitely worth considering next time one is in Oudtshoorn. Room 3 I had was large with a sorting area and massive bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and my stay was made perfect by Venita & Errol’s hospitality.
