Kas Festival Trip

Cinar Hotel is very central to the main square, there are many restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. The WiFi was excellent in our room, the bathroom was very spacious, the room was very good.

Terrible customer service left a bad taste in our mouths.

The location was good and the balcony offered a nice view over the town.

The customer service was non-existent. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, we waited for a little while but still no one arrived. We left our bags in front of the reception and drove around to find a car park. When we returned there was still no one at the reception. We were forced to asked someone at the restaurant if they could help us. Someone finally came and barely said a word to us. It was as if we were inconveniencing them for being there as she did not smile and did not greet us with even a "Hello" or "Welcome". The language barrier was not an issue as my wife is Turkish which she knew because she took photos of our passports. I was forced to call the reception from my mobile phone to find out the usual details about the room and hotel that is usually provided at check-in by a staff member. My wife was very disappointed with the service too and when I raised it as an issue with the manager I was met with aggression and excuses as opposed to an apology or a "Welcome". When I told him that we were waiting around for someone to help us, instead of apologizing, he threatened to check the security cameras to see if I was telling the truth about how long I had been waiting. This lack of customer service was a common trend for the entire stay. Breakfast was average and met with the same apathetic staff. If you decide to book here, don't expect smiles or friendly staff to welcome you, offer advice on what to do and see during your stay or even say greet when you go to and from the hotel. It was extremely disappointing and a shame because it is a nice hotel in a good location.

Fantastic location

I enjoyed the traditional Turkish breakfast with a slight change each day ie pancakes/omelettes/boiled eggs/menemen. The balcony had a good view of both the mountains and sea. The bathroom was nicely tiled. Cleaning was when requested. The area around the hotel is the best part of Kas with a lovely onsite restaurant and also many other lovely restaurants close by. It is convenient for all the beach clubs.

A couple of days coffee wasn't available at breakfast.

Exceptional value for money.

The hotel is very central but I didn’t hear noise from the restaurants below. The room had a beautiful bathroom, probably the nicest I have had. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great, typically Turkish, but with a different addition every day (homemade pancakes, cheese omelette etc). We ate in the hotel restaurant twice & the meals were superb. Very pleasant staff. The keycard entry makes it feel very secure.

The air conditioning was a little noisy but as it was October it wasn’t needed to be on all night

Excellent location, friendly staff, tasty freshly prepared turkish breakfast. Within facility is a traditional restaurant (meyhane) with good service and tasty food, good choice for a dinner.

Great location, nice hotel.

Small pleasant hotel, very well located, in the most touristic neighborhood. Although crowded with small hotels and restaurants , the place has a really romantic and traditional look, with large trees and flowers everywhere. Our room was small but comfortable, good size bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, air conditioning, small fridge , small terrace, sea view. Breakfast option. Also a small outdoor restaurant in front of the hotel. Nice friendly helpful staff.

Parking was not easy, our host kindly parked our car in an empty lot behind the hotel, but I am not sure if this option is always available.

Please define Executive Suite

The location. Cinar is in the perfect spot in Kas, high on a hill so potential for great views and in the middle of the action, stores, restaurants. Great view from (only) the balcony, not from the room.

I reserved an executive suite. I don’t know where else in the world an executive suite is a basic small and dark hotel room with a small bathroom, but the room was only that, not more. Nothing executive about it even if you were working here there was no desk. It was dated and so small, 20 m sq maximum with sloping ceilings. Love / hate with air conditioner and temperature in the room. The room was either too cold or too hot, with one of those systems that electricity (ie air) only works with the key card when you're in the room. When I was in Kas before in the same season I spent 1/2 that amount for a much nicer room.

Great location in the centre of town close to everything you need. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Fantastic Turkish breakfast nothing to much trouble would definitely stay here again

Nice location and good value for money

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The surrounding view is outstanding. The room is good and extensive enough for a single-family. The service was friendly and the staff was helpful.

Water or juice is not included in the breakfast which is disappointing. We asked for water which they provided but while checking out they handed us the bill. It was unexpected and they should mention this clearly.

The room was small, but ok, quiet as we asked, clean enough, with good breakfast. Also vey nice location - close to everything.

They charged me more than the booking price (though my price on booking.com was in liras, I live in Turkey, was paying in liras - they explained it by changing euro rate))). The breakfast was very good, but if you come half an hour before it's finished you are not getting all the breakfast - they stop offering eggs. And if you ask for water - it's not free, they charge you later 10times price of the shop.

Staff so friendly and polite, very helpful, room very clean, good breakfast, great balcony view, central location. Wonderful stay would come again or recommend.

Beds were twin put together, not like in the picture, but we didn't mind that much because the balcony view was very nice. Run out of toilet paper 2 times.

Very nice boutique hotel

We come for 3 days and ended up staying 3 weeks so this sais something. - very clean and cozy - best location possible - excellent breakfast - nice and attendive staff - super nice view if you get a balcony

The room that we stayed on secend floor was clean and has ocian view. Breakfest is huge and fresh. Service was exellent and location is the best. Great value for price.

Very good location. Just in the city center. Easy to access to the port. Restaurant within the hotel. Room was well decorated and clean. Breakfast was very good. Enjoy the city nightlife by walking.

For small vacation

Not bad place for staying for few nights. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, close to main square, kind personal.

Room is very small. I expected more according to the photos I saw. But we were staying just for 1 night, so was ok.

Pleasant

Location was okay.

The staff wasn't very helpful. Rooms were not clean. Breakfast was poor. They did not served antything to drink except tea and coffe and you had to buy water if you want to drink it. The hotel did not arange parking space. It is a very bad value for money. Would not recommend.

Exceptional

Everything was great. I arrived earlier and got keys from the room without waiting. I also asked to serve breakfast earlier and they did it! Room was good. I spent evening on the balcony and enjoyed sunset. Breakfast was big and very good.

Superb

Breakfast was very good, location is close to the port. The attached restaurant is great, and one of the best breakfasts that I had! Got the executive room, and having the balcony to watch the sunset

The parking is street parking, in case you rent a car. There was plenty nearby when I was there, but could be trickier in the summer months.

Exceptional

The location is amazing! Ocean view from the balcony. A cosy little street lined with restaurants and beautiful lights. Easy to park near by. The room was really clean and the bathroom looks just like the pictures, really clean and modern. The shower was super as well with a big shower head. We loved the breakfast!! Very fresh, lots of vegetables, omelette, different jams and olives, coffee and çay. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Simply one of the best stays we had in Turkey!

There's nothing not to like, we had a great stay!
