A good place to stay when visiting Samos.
We detoured here to visit the town and monastery whilst walking the Camino Frances, and we were not disappointed.
Hotel A Viega did not disappoint, comfy and clean room, nice hot shower. At the end of the corridor we had a balcony to sit on overlooking the River Sarria, with places to air and dry socks etc.
We took advantage of the excellent spread laid on for breakfast. There is also a nice front bar and terrace for drinks.
Samos is a short walk back on yourself along the main road, and is a lovely place to visit. The next stage walk on the Camino Frances to Sarria/beyond, is on your doorstep.
