It was very cheap and functional.
The overall vibe is a mixure of student dorms and roadside motel. Guests are very mixed.
Beds were okay, there is a big window in the room which is cool. Heating works. Even though the hotel was fully booked there was never many people in the toilets/showers which was nice.
It’s 15 min walk from Kehl, Germany and prices in the supermarkets are much cheaper there.
If you buy the tram ticket you can travel to the city center. It takes around 15-20 minutes to the center. Very convenient.
You can drop off luggage for 2e per bag.
Even though I have messaged them on booking a few times before the arrival to ask for early check in, they didn’t reply.
We came there before the check in to leave our bags. The staff had very dismissive attitude about the check in (because they were fully booked). We get that but it just felt a bit mean since we had to spend 6-7h in the city before the check in. Like…they couldn’t even say “we’ll see what we can do or we’ll try our best”.
Anyway we managed to get into our room at 1pm instead of 2pm and we are so grateful; it’s just the attitude that was a bit off.
Also we brought our own towels since we read about the polyester ones. No bins in the toilets.

The transportation was very easy. You have a near tram stop in 2-3 minutes by walking. With that line, you can go central spots in Strassbourg without transferring. Easy check-in & out , typical F1. We did not use the dusches but toilettes were quite clean, more than we expected and you have sink in your room thats was also fabulous for people like me who uses contact lenses. Totally recommended.
Maybe a little handsoap for the sink would be better.

The price was good, and the bed clean. It was ok for one night stopover. Located just over the boarder from Germany.
Very small room, small bed, no heating, a bit run down and old, but generally clean.
