Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Mainzer Tor. Mein Zimmer war mit eigenem Bad und einer kleinen Terrasse zum Innenhof ausgestattet, was den Aufenthalt komfortabel und unkompliziert gemacht hat.
Da kein Frühstück angeboten wird, fand ich die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Flur sehr praktisch. Außerdem liegt eine Bäckerei in direkter Nähe, sodass man morgens schnell versorgt ist. Für mich war das völlig in Ordnung und hat gut funktioniert.
Das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet regionale Küche und Spezialitäten, die wirklich solide und empfehlenswert sind. Das Preis‑Leistungsverhältnis ist sowohl in der Pension als auch im Restaurant fair, und man merkt, dass hier Wert auf gute, ehrliche Gastronomie gelegt wird.
Insgesamt habe ich mich dort willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ein Restaurant mit Pension, das man guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen kann.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, am Eingang zur Altstadt. Obwohl direkt an der Straße,war es doch ruhig.
Das Zimmer war sehr groß und auch ein großes und bequemes Bett hat den Aufenthalt angenehm gemacht. 3 Zimmer teilen sich ein Bad und eine Toilette. Das war OK und kein Problem. Es gab auch eine kleine Kaffeebar im Flur. Habe ich zwar nicht genutzt, aber der Gedanke ist gut. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar.
Es gab nichts zu meckern. Klar- wer in einem alten Fachwerkhaus/ Gaststätte übernachtet , kann mit dem dazugehörigem Flair rechnen. Hat alles gepasst

smelly room (i think the room was on top of the restaurant kitchen. bed was very noise, sharing toilette (i wasn’t expecting it) and out side of my room the hallway had strong smell of cigarets. Noisy people in the accommodation too.
