Nestled in Ercolano, this lovely house for $125 per night is a great option for your next trip. Villa Raffaela offers the opportunity to stay in comfortable dependance surrounded by a lush garden filled with palms, rare plants and vases filled with flowers. The dependence of about 100 mq spread over two floors: the ground propane is used as a living area with large living overlooking the garden, kitchen with balcony, bathroom, small laundry room; on upper floor with a pitched roof, is used as a sleeping area with two bedrooms, one with a balcony overlooking the garden, bathroom, shower area. You can enjoy the garden that has a grape arbor and equipped with chairs, tables, chairs, making it the ideal place for relaxation and leisure. Lovely hostess, beautiful garden, a suburb of Napoli’s. Quite a large cottage on a grand estate. A little hard to find but worth it.

I did not put the address in correctly for my first night arrival and thought it was another location. This is very important, and PLEASE arrive during daylight hours! The property is GORGEOUS, the guest house (this listing) is wonderful. My ONLY complaint, and it wasn't a problem for me at all because I am 5' 4" tall (162.5 cm), is the top floor (bedrooms and one of the bathrooms) is the roof and the ceiling slants down significantly. You will hit your head at the sides of the house if you're not paying attention. A 6" tall person may have a little issue. But, overall, the gardens are gorgeous, the main house (the owner's home) is BEAUTIFUL. The property is secure (gated) and it's really lovely. We drove everywhere so I can't report about getting around via public transportation at all. The host was very communicative via VRBO message or better yet, texting via whatsapp. Highly recommend. (Shower's great -- good pressure and good heat.)

It was perfect location to stay while visiting family In Napoli and towns surrounding Vesuvius. Sonia and her family were very nice and accommodating.
The home was a perfect size for the 4 of us.

The place is exactly what we expected from the listing. The apartment is located in midst of a beautiful garden and in a gated space close to the main house. It is very spacious and very well equipped. There are 3 outdoor eating areas in this apartment which is a wonderful way to enjoy Sonia's flowers and unique garden treasures. Great proximity by car to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. Sonia is a wonderful host and is very knowledgeable on the history of the area. Would definitely book this place again! Thank you Sonia, it was very nice to get to know you and your mom.

Comfortable and self contained villa, a little further from Naples than I had first thought but only a short train ride away. Ready access to historic sites and shopping. Sonia was a lovely and helpful host.

Sehr schön!
Das Häuschen ist geräumig, auch mit vier Personen, und es fehlt an nichts. Der wunderschöne Garten bietet gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Auch die Klimaanlage hat uns gute Dienste erwiesen. Die Lage ist ruhig und sehr gut an den ÖPNV angeschlossen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Neapel. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Sonja.

Correct dans l'ensemble
Correct dans l'ensemble mais dommage que la 2eme chambre soit fermée par des rideaux et non une cloison et une porte. Et que la clim dans cette chambre soit placée à côté du lit car très bruyant.

It was outside of naples
Even though we had to take a taxi into Naples I couldn’t of asked for more of a helpful owner she brought us fresh oranges off her tree and drove me to the grocery store ordered pizza for me cause I only spoke english. She is an amazing hostess with a beautiful garden and a/ c in the house huge plus. Driving back in Naples was 50 times worse the New York so we went out on a Sunday we’re there was no one out! I would book excursions cause drinking the coast is even worse with no parking. Otherwise for a family there was plenty of room. Thank you again Sonia and her mom who were super kind and helpful

Pour napples utilisé le train ,la gare se trouve â 20 mn du gĩte et 5 mn en voiture avec un grand paking .

Vacances dépaysantes et reposantes
Nous qui aimons le calme nous avons beaucoup apprécié la demeure et son jardin. Sonia est une hôtesse gentille qui nous a accueillis avec le sourire malgré notre arrivée tardive. Pour un logement de vacances tout était très bien et propre et le nécessaire y était avec un panier de douceurs. Dès que nous avons quoi que ce soit à demander, Sonia peut nous aider. Notre habitation est située dans le jardin de la villa de Sonia et notre hôte est discrète tout en restant prévenante. Nous avons fait presque tous nos déplacements en transport en commun, la gare est à 15 min à pied. Sonia nous a également indiqué un taxi. Il y a aussi des markets pour les courses du quotidien si besoin aux alentours. Nous avons été ravis tous les 4 .

Très bon séjour. Logement spacieux dans une dépendance dans un beau jardin au calme. Bons couchages, 2 salles de bains, propre, lieu sécurisé. Sonia a répondu positivement avec beaucoup de gentillesse à nos sollicitations (taxi, barbecue, réglage de la climatisation...) . A renouveler.

Perfekt
Wir haben in einem sehr schön eingerichteten, großzügigen Ferienhaus gewohnt. Im Untergeschoß befindet sich ein Bad, die Küche und der Aufenthaltsraum. Oben gibt es ein weiteres Bad und 2 Schlafzimmer. Alle Räume sind klimatisiert. Man kann innen oder auf der Terrasse essen.
Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und hat einen großen Garten, um den sich die Besitzerin liebevoll kümmert.
Man kann sehr gut Pompei, Herkulaneum und den Vesuv erreichen. Nach Neapel kommt man mit dem Bus (10 Min. Fußweg) oder mit dem Zug (20 Min. Fußweg),
Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft, es hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen.

Cette grande propriété et son magnifique jardin permettent de passer des vacances au calme. Hélas, les chiens du voisinage aboient une bonne partie de la nuit. La location est spacieuse, propre, le linge de maison est fourni et la literie neuve. Il faudrait cependant changer les sommiers en fer qui ne sont absolument pas confortables et la douche du haut aurait besoin d’un petit coup de rafraîchissement. Autre petit détail, deux verres à pied auraient été les bienvenus pour déguster le vin italien 🇮🇹!
La location est à 15 bonnes minutes à pied du train pour Naples.

We had a very nice stay and viseted the Vesuv Mointain, Pompei and Herculaneo.
It was very hot and so we gladly returned to the climatised house, where we could cook and whash everthing to be prepared for the next day.
Thank you for organising our taxis to the harbour and from the airport and to pompei and hercolaneo, Sonia!

La casa è ampia e comoda, ben curata e pulita. Molto ben attrezzata per tutte le nostre esigenze.
Abbiamo apprezzato il verde del bel giardino della villa in cui riposarci dopo le fatiche delle visite turistiche.

Ottima soluzione per ogni escursione in auto nei luoghi di maggior interesse nei dintorni ; Napoli , costiera Sorrentina e Amalfitana, et ..
Posto auto molto importante per area custodita e chiusa, e a un passo alla casa.
La mansarda è davvero bassa e può essere un problema per persone molto alte , assistenza molto gentile e disponibile. Infine la soluzione per noi , si è rivelata un'ottima scelta !

Agréable séjour
Avec nos deux enfants, nous avons passé un agréable séjour lors de la Toussaint 2018 bien que la météo ne nous ai pas gâté. Il faudra revenir pour mieux profiter de la région.

très reposante et isolée au milieu de la grande métropole napolitaine et vésuvienne
Merci à Sonia pour son aimable accueil (j'aurais aimé parler mieux l'italien pour communiquer un peu plus, mais elle a su quand même nous apporter l'essentiel : amabilité, disponibilité par sms et en personne, sourire ...) Son jardin est magnifique et frais, la propriété est totalement sécurisée et semble presque irréelle dans ce quartier si ordinaire. La maison de location est suffisamment grande pour 4, elle est bien agencée et décorée, et possède le matériel nécessaire pour la cuisine mais pas plus (dommage, un micro-onde aurait été bienvenu). Nous avons grandement apprécié l'impression d'être chez nous, alors que juste à l'extérieur la grande métropole napolitaine et vésuvienne est si dense, si peuplée, si fourmillante (difficile d'y conduire), si déroutante (un usage pour le (non)-ramassage des poubelles sans doute unique en Europe) mais néanmoins attachante.

Belle propriété et bien située pour les visites
La location (petite maison que l'on aperçois au fond) est spacieuse et située dans une belle propriété. La localisation est idéale pour visiter Pompei, Naples, le Vésuve (et biens ru Herculanum). L'accueil est très sympathique. La maison a tout ce qu'il faut y compris une jolie terrasse à l'étage et la possibilité de manger dans le jardin au RDC.
L'étage avec les chambres étant bien mansardé je déconseillerais cette location aux grands (pour nous avec un max de 1m70 ça n'a pas posé de problème).

Calme et beauté
Mignonne dépendance d'une somptueuse maison avec un très beau jardin.
Nous avons tous apprécié le calme de la maison et son confort, après les journées de visites dans le bruit et la foule.
Cachée dans une petite rue, son implantation permet d'être rapidement sur les sites archéologique et à deux pas de Naples.

Propriété agréable, ilot au milieu d'un quartier populaire de la banlieue de Naples. Difficile à trouver même avec GPS...Un peu loin de la gare (à pieds, 45mn) Attention les ruines d'Herculanum (scavi) sont assez éloignées...
Accueil sympathique, obtenir absolument le téléphone de la propriétaire avant d'arriver...

Excellent emplacement
Villa très bien située et très calme. A 15 min à pied de la gare, vous rejoignez Naples, Pompeï, Herculanum en moins d'une demi-heure par le train. Un jardin magnifique où vous pouvez garer votre véhicule et dans cette région c'est vraiment appréciable ! Le seul point négatif, est la literie qui mériterait d'être changée !

Villa Raffaella is a beautiful little house behind a private area of a family home (una villa grande). The separate residence was not an apartment, but it's own domicile (gated) with private access to the front door by car and taxi in beautiful Ercolano (near San Giorgio a Cremano).
Sonia the wonderful daughter and her regal family live on the premises. She gave us every help and direction we needed including the number of Ciro OUR taxi driver.
Ciro picked us up and dropped us off right at our door for all our trips a Napoli, to Pompeii, to the train station....tutti (and always at a very fair price). He gave us a personal tour explaining everything as he drove us everywhere. In Pompeii he even secured a wonderful tour for us on site, dropped us off and pick us up later. What a gift...grazie Sonia for Ciro and for everything.
Staying at Villa Rafaella felt like we were con famiglia and we came to Ercolano to visit our own family (who still live in San Giorgio a Cremano).
Every morning I would walk downtown. The people, il caffe', the food, and the churches...to me it was like una fetta di paradiso! My family came from Naples and all this was possible because of Sonia and her bella famiglia.
I cannot imagine staying in a better place.
