Sea View Hotel is the perfect spot in Kas. You can walk to the old town very easily, and there are lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars next to the hotel. The best part is the sea deck and sunbeds. It was busy and VERY hot, but the staff always managed to get us 6 beds near eachother. They are attentive with food and drink orders. We had lunch on the sunbeds which was great. We stayed 3 nights, and we actually wished we could have stayed longer. We had a car, and, despite the busy area, the hotel just told us to park right outside the front door. The rooms were lovely and spacious with very comfortable beds, and amazing views of the water. We stayed in kalkan for a few nights after Kas, and wish we'd just stayed in Kas. The water is so clear and incredible to swim in everywhere in Kas, and the old town is so lovely.
There is no lift, so the poor man who had to carry our suitcases up the stairs (4 levels!) on a 36 degree (Celsius) day was very impressive. I would not have wanted to do that on my own. We carried our own suitcases down when we checked out and it's definitely not an easy feat.

Location and staff were excellent! I will highly recommend this hotel. Ahmed was very kind and helpful during our weeklong stay.

The terrace on the sea was nice
Room was not clean. There was black mold all around the sink and shower. It was honestly disgusting. Safe was not working, we needed to ask them to unlock it. The balcony door was broken, we needed to tell them to fix it, which they did by drilling holes into it to install the flimsy temporary lock. Staff either overly friendly or sleeping passed out on the reception couch.
