The hotel is an island of peace and quiet to get away from the busy city life. The building is an old Victorian palace that's has maintained a unique character in an unpretentious way. It's surrounded by well maintained lovely gardens to enjoy all day even late at night with a bar open untill 11pm. There's a great selection of Indian and international food. We tried the Indian menu and we loved it. And finally, the members of staff are kind, friendly and extremely hely. We loved our experience at the Green Hotel.

Old world charm and location
Felt the price was too high. The Bollywood deluxe room was smaller and the decor was less grand compared to my expectations.

Old colonial style. With some great architecture in lovely grounds
Bed was too small and the pillows were awful, not feathers just lumpy or hard synthetic foam.
