We did not sleep in Karawanken Lodge itself, but in an apartment near by. Both are managed very well. The area is remote and peaceful. my family loved it. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. there is a trampoline in the yard for the kids. in the morning we want on a nearby path to the lake.
no stores or such in walking distance.

When I arrived owner guy asked my plan for my staying. And when I said I would like to SUP on the lake, he gave me the best, and closest point where I can get to the water, and offerd me restaurants around the lake, where I can eat, with a map. Everything was working perfectly:) I was there before the season, but they served nice breafast.
