Had a wonderful stay at Mel Ville! 🌿✨ The location was excellent, right in the center of the city, making it very convenient to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and cafes. 📍🚲
The hosts, Anup and Mehak, were extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful whenever I needed assistance! 🙌❤️ They stay in the same building, and their warm hospitality along with keeping the property so exceptionally well maintained and gave the entire place a cozy, homey vibe that reminded me of some of the best B&B experiences I’ve had traveling across Europe and the US. 🏠🌍✈️
From start to finish, they made my trip completely seamless:
Effortless Communication & Transport: They created a WhatsApp group for smooth communication 📱 and provided a curated list of local attractions. They even arranged bike rentals 🛵 and rickshaw rides 🛺 through their trusted local contacts (costs extra), making navigation a breeze!
Breakfast & Mint Tea: They offer breakfast and laundry services (for an additional fee). Whatever you do, don't skip their mint tea—it was absolute perfection! ☕️🍃
Local Restaurant Perk: They also own a fantastic restaurant just down the block. The food was amazing, and as an added bonus, they gave me discount coupons to use there! 😬
Everything was top-notch, and their service made my stay truly memorable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pondicherry and would love to stay here again! 🌊💙

The hosts Anup and Mehak were amazing. Very warm and inviting. They invited me over for complimentary breakfast as well - felt like a home away from home!

We recently stayed at this property in Pondicherry and had a wonderful experience. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for our family. Everything was organized thoughtfully, making our stay pleasant and relaxing.
A special mention goes to Anup and Mehak, the property owners, who was extremely welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. He took the time to explain everything clearly, including how to use the lift, property guidelines, and other important information, which made us feel comfortable and at home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious complimentary breakfast. The food was fresh, tasty, and prepared with care. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a great way to start each day.
The location is another major advantage. The property is very well situated in hub of Pondicherry, within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, and other attractions. This made it easy for us to explore the city without needing transportation.
Overall, the property, the location, and the hospitality were all outstanding. We truly appreciated the care and attention provided by the hosts and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Pondicherry.

no breakfast was available in the hotel had to go for it outside so restrictions on getting up early & go out, so the basic idea of relaxing is defeated even the toilet is very small & not very comfortable to take a bath no bath accessories, the towels & napkins given were very used ones (i am stating all this because I my self is a Travel Consultant for last 40 yrs & have traveled worldwide.
Mr Melwani is helpful to the guest, but the room needs to be with proper windows, be airy, and have no refrigerator so no cold water or ice available, cannot buy cold water and keep it cold as the weather is very humid & sweaty, no parking available although mentioned on the website, Very difficult to get parking & to park outside on the road is very dangerous.
