I booked a room last minute after a noisy and dirty stay on Gangaur Ghat. I was amazed at what i got for only a few hundred rupees more. I had a small room on the first floor, which was all I needed as a single traveler for one night. Room was immaculate and so comfortable. It’s in a beautiful old haveli with a spacious and private courtyard, complete with the family temple and stepwell. Walkable to the hustle bustle of the winding streets of the old city, but so much more peaceful. Host was so welcoming. They offer breakfast, but I left too early to take advantage of it. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a heritage stay with a bit more peace and quiet than in/near the ghats.

la Haveli ( familiale ) est située en dehors du grouillement de la ville qu'est maintenant Udaipur mais parfaitement située près du parc de Gulab Bagh ; de Duth Talai et sa vue imprenable sur le lac Pichola et de Jagdish Temple en remontant la rue principale , tout ça dans un rayon d'à peu près 1 km ce qui laisse le temps pour de belles promenades
peut être la salle de bain de ma chambre cette fois-ci mais je suppose qu'à l'heure qu'il est, les petits problemes ont été résolus .
