A beautiful homestead in a stunning location. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Incredible staff!

Room was great, grounds too, lovely pool much needed in heat. Staff friendly too. Great breakfast. Loved the birds feeding and tortoises too!
Just a shame one dinner wasn’t great (and inadvertently charged but not a lot anyway).

Liked the room and property-
Advertised as 5* establishment with lots of facilities. The tv had been removed but they were willing to plug it in with limited package. (Advertise as satellite)
We booked honeymoon suite for the spa bath just to be told that we may not bath as there’s a water shortage. We were the only guests and sharing a bath is less than 2x showering.
There is a big 90 000l swimming pool with no cover outside…. But a couple may not bath..?
The restaurant in the advert exists for dinner no more.
Returning from dinner elsewhere, we faced an ice cold room. We did report aircon not working and a very friendly gentleman did try his best to sort out earlier the evening.
We decided to bath to get warm but alas the bath plug had been removed …
With no heating or electric blanket or even a hot bath…. . We got bitterly cold and were not overly amused the next morning with our 5* honeymoon suite. Admittedly they had a 50% discount but did not remove all the amenities they no longer provided.
On complaining politely the morning, the manageress Gail who started our extremely friendly was only making excuses for lack of things and left the very friendly assistant to deal with us.
I know Covid has hit the industry hard but please don’t misrepresent what you offer.
No apology was made by the manageress or even a good bye when we left as only guests.
Please just have at least one room with the right facilities and I’m sure guests will love the beautiful place again
