Paraiso Rainforest and Beach Hotel

Everything was better than I expected. Waitresses, security guards, pools, clean and modern facilities. I highly recommend this family place.

Very nice well kept grounds and pathways. Everyone cared and smiled..a quiet relaxed atmosphere.

No hot water. TV after the first night made strange buzzing noises.

The family environment , live music.

The infinity pool was out of service and that issue wasn’t disclosed in the booking page. But, once we arrived we were informed about that issue , I asked for an upgrade on the room and they agreed, additional they offered us free tickets for a natural park, And free usage of the front beach Cabanas. We missed the pool but at least we got some extras.

The breakfast was good, the pools were beautiful, the beach was nice, the setting was beautiful. This resort is nice to visit for a day trip, but I would not stay there overnight again.

Rooms could be cleaner, wifi didn't work during 80% of our stay and there was no cell phone service, nobody was at the front desk after 9:00 pm (not sure how an emergency could be handled in this situation), the phone directory for resort services had all wrong phone numbers, nobody answered the phones, television had no working channels, cold water in the shower, there was no door on the shower. Food was much more expensive in the resort restaurant than the local restaurants down the road. Oh and I booked the reservation through booking.com and it was supposed to be $95 for the night and I looked at my credit card statement and they actually charged me $130 for the night.
